Would love Politic to start in place of Garrity who just hasnt got going but I can't see it. Wilson will be on the bench, a bit to early for a start for him but Harrison and Mipo looked a threat against Cheltenham. It was the defense that dropped us 2 points there.

I think away from home DC will go with Garrity for the work rate but certainly at home I’d be looking at Politic in that number 10 role. Simply put he’s better on the ball than Garrity who although I take on board he’s been asked to fill in up front technically he hasn’t made the leap he needs to this season. DC needs to use his subs smarter in this one also, no more trying to be too clever and taking off our best performer on the day like he did Pett against Cheltenham.

DJ at left wing back! Jesus Christ!

Bench is strong for a change though, Wilson and Dennis the Menace on there.

Not sure the point of signing the lad from Stoke on loan… he’s not made either squad!

Injuries to defenders it would seem.
Keeping faith with the front two, expect Stansfield to come on late on.
Might take a draw from here

We’ve gone for the same as the team that beat Lincoln last time out. Arguably our strongest team, only Tracey/Brophy and possibly at centre back in debate.

First ten minutes were relatively even but since then Barnsley look really good. Probably go so far to say they’re the team that has impressed me the most so far this season. Feel a goal for them is a matter time.

Been outplayed for the majority of that half. Had a couple of opportunities but Barnsley have had about five of them. They’ve moved it around very well and our midfield needs to find an answer.

Utterly ridiculous scoreline, we've dominated this. But shows what can happen when your defence is decimated.

Really poor from us tonight, Barnsley haven’t had to do much to get the lead and the goal is so poor to concede.

Positive is we’ve had two or three very good chances and should be taking them away from home, especially Garrity who scores that last season.

Our midfield is dire though, it was what we thought our strongest point after last season but it’s been the let down.

Waste of a tenner.

Josh Key is so much better in the final third than the defensive third.............he gives me the collywobbles far too often there.

I’d be surprised if Shrewsbury don’t score another goal tbh. Our makeshift back three looks very ropey.

Other than that, we’ve been superb going forward and we probably should have scored four or five in the first half. Jevani is a sexy footballer.

Final score 4-4

Thomas, Connell and Aitchison for them are really impressive. Just look a level above anyone in our team.

Still only one goal in it though so only takes one to fall for us.

1-1 Harrison, we’ve definitely improved since the changes but this is smash and grab if we get something after all this.

MK Dons are a shadow of the team they were last season. Can’t see them getting anywhere near where they were last season. Twine and Parrott irreplaceable at this level. Cumming the gk looks a quality player though. He was the only decent performer for them tonight.

Phew after how that went up to 70 minutes you have to be delighted with a point. After the subs and equaliser we really gave them a good fright and could have won it.

Good luck to Barnsley, a very good side and on another night would have been out of sight.

Superb effort once the subs came on and changed the game and could of easily won it in the end! Both keeper made stunning saves deep in injury time and Wilson, Politic, Massey and Butterworth changed the game.

Happy with a point after a poor first half but some hope once our big players get fit that we will be a different side.

Barnsley looked decent on the ball but in fairness we’re woeful at the back and we’ve had three or four guilt edged chances of our own.

Huge last minute winner that from big Chey!!

Back to back wins and sitting nicely in 8th place. Unfortunately I couldn’t watch it as my fire stick was playing up this evening but to come back from two goals down shows good team character.

Onto Vale away Saturday.

(Glad I got on that 2/1 Salop win)

Absolutely horrendous commentary this Barnsley team. Not far off the Tranmere idiots.

Poor first hour although we created plenty of chances. Barnsley creates plenty too but I don't think either of us can have too many complaints with a point. Despite what them clowns on ifollow say.

Afraid I cant see us getting anything out of the away game at Posh. A draw would be an excellent result, I would be over the moon for the team to achieve this......
As I was saying........I am claiming this as the result of the night ( excellent win by Lincoln ). Kept a clean sheet against high scoring Posh and going off the live texting we did'nt just sit back and defend. Great result for the Cods and puts us in good stead for the Addicks at the weekend

Horrible anti-football from Morecambe just like last season. Thankfully they didn’t scab a 1-0 again.

Onto a massive one on Saturday at home to Ipswich.

Once again it confirms my point that there isn't this huge gulf of quality we were all told about at the beginning of the season.

Yes, Barnsley had a couple of decent midfielders but they will have, having been in the championship for a few years. But once we'd actually brought on our decent players, we should have won. Their midfield looked good but their defence was awful.

We had a poor starting team....a team which would have been poor in league 2 and Barnsley played through us easily but once we started getting our good players on the pitch, they were worried.

Start the team we finished with and stick with it for a few games and I can see us moving up the table.

In the end we had 15 shots and 4 on target to their 16/5 so probably deserved the point although much of ours were in the last 30 minutes. If we cab get the team that finished fit quickly hopefully we can start getting some results together. 1 loss in 5 now in all competitions so a foundation.

Lost my Dad at 10.21am yesterday morning after turning off his life support just before midnight. Didn't watch the game tonight but knew we would win it for him.
Sorry for your loss mate. Glad they got a result for him.
