I have very little confidence in Ipswich at the moment. We seem to go through periods of playing extremely good football, to only switch off for a period and defend like a Sunday league team, it's so frustrating. I'm fully expecting us to dominate the game tonight, only to concede a stupid goal.

1-1

Think we’re actually improving under Big Dunc, wouldn’t shock me if we got something tonight.

You clearly havent seen any of our recent highlights. Struggling to score and conceding loads making poor teams look good... so god help us tonight

Big chances tonight, keeper dropped for Stone, but the big news is both Matty Taylor and Ellis Harrison are back in the squad all be it on the bench, huge boost if we can get minutes into them and adds positivity for the weekends game at least.

Defensively though missing Cass and Jones which is a blow.

If we can stay in the game at least we are throwing on two very good strikers second half rather than Mipo

More tinkering. No Nombe, Blackman, Caprice, Sweeney.
Not confident

Don’t worry, we’re without two very good CB’s for this level and can’t even field a full bench. I’d be surprised if you didn’t beat us in all honesty. I’m usually fairly confident but not at all tonight.

We haven’t conceded at home for 14 hours and 49 minutes now… so that record will probably go. If we score early I think we will go on and score a few but if we don’t I think we’ll get nervier as the game goes on. I like our line up tonight with what we have available but still missing Bradley and George Johnston. Kieran Lee rested.

6-12 months ago we were the worst team in the league at set pieces. Scoring loads now. 2 headers from corners tonight

Aiden Stone has to come for that. To give a free header like that is criminal. Very poor as well from our defence just stopping tracking their men as they assumed it was offside. Play to the sodding whistle, it isn’t difficult.

3-0. Something is brewing here in the second half of this season. We are finding some serious form now.

Reminding me of us in 2019, went on a run second half of season and ended up third, just couldn’t catch Luton or Barnsley as they kept on winning too, can see the same happening with you, Wednesday and Plymouth.

Yeah i think it will be a tough ask for autos. Left ourselves a bit much to do but if we could take this form into playoffs I think we’d have a good chance. Long way to go yet though. Looks like we will get the chance to rest a few again ahead of the weekend

Pulling my hair out, what little I have left. Much the better side but as per at the weekend a side has had to do barely anything to get two goals. First one need ti see again but to give that much room
Was criminal,

Batter them for 15 and get a deserved equaliser and as per the weekend switch off on a set piece. Keeper has time to come and collect it.

What's so frustrating about that is we're playing another very very average team who have not had to work for their goals. We've had most of the possession, most of the shots, most of the play but we can't give goals away like we are at the moment.

We've been not so good since they scored but they've had 2 chances and scored them. Until we stop conceding pathetic goals we'll keep losing football matches.

If it’s any consolation, we did go on and win the play-offs so if it does play out the same, you’re laughing.

We’ve been terrible but should somehow still be 2-0 up. Bayliss has missed a sitter from 6 yards out and hit the crossbar. Exeter are atrocious compared to when we played earlier on in the season. Can tell they’re missing Brown, no flair or creativity whatsoever up top for them. Could go either way this game second half.

Once again a very frustrating first half. Complete dominance but we really struggle when teams sit back. Bristol Rovers are setting soo deep.

Usual stuff from us. Probably having more of the ball, but not getting past the edge of the box. Shrews breaking quicker and should have scored.
The only optimism I have is that Nombe is on the bench and we have the ref from Port Vale, so anything could happen

1-0 up v Accy at HT, although we are arguably lucky to be in the lead since they had a goal ruled out for offside which I thought was in.

Accy look ok but there’s some pretty wonky finishing coming from them. Long way to go yet though and Accy could certainly hurt us if we switch off.

Well now we’ve got the strikers back the defence is weakened. Donnelly isn’t ready and Stone has been as poor as Stevens. Don’t get why we took the foot off the gas once we got back level either we were battering the door down so keep going.

Couldn’t tell from where I am sat but second miles offside the ones watching iFollow reckon.

0-0 so far in Cambridge-Chelts, the classic relegation six pointer scoreline.

That second goal for Barnsley is exactly why I didn’t want to see Stone in this side. He’s clueless on crosses. People forget due to the result but on another day he’d have cost us the playoff final.

Played decent enough overall though especially after their first goal. That said I am done with Benning. I don’t care who we put there whether it’s move Worrall over but he is out of his depth in this league and needs a spell out of the team.

It looked it but the linesman on lorne Street is so far behind play, who knows?

3rd corner goal of the night. Bizarre. That’s more than we scored all last season. Traff has made 2 very good saves but Cumming has made 3/4. Should be 6/7-2 this. Great game
