I know some of our fans are raising an eyebrow about Massey in for Thomas but I don’t get why it’s so hard to understand Saturday -Tuesday - Saturday plus the added minutes games last now means changes like this will happen. At some point Wilson needs to be able to contribute more than 20 though, preferably soon. It’s going to be a low block and try to play on the counter, whether it works is another matter.

To be fair worked well Saturday in the main, all be it maybe could of given Wilson and Thomas half each.

Cousins and Kaikai back on the bench in an otherwise unchanged starting lineup for the 3rd lge game running which is nice to see compared to last season.

COME ON YOU U’S

If your going rest or rotate players then I'd say do it for the league cup or pizza trophy games not league matches.

Its Tuesday night, three hours away, and on Sky. I still think that's pretty good.
Well thats the ironic thing, thats what the Pompey fan said. 750 in all those conditions is good support, but whoever it was was claiming double those numbers would take place...

Early days and I don’t want to get too excited but we don’t half look good this season. Gone up a level on last season already. Fleetwood haven’t actually done too badly here but we look so much better going forward this season after being so toothless for a lot of last season

Been a quiet opening 20 or so which you’d think we’d be happier with so far. They’ve obviously got some good players but it’s quite slow possession up to this point. We did have the ball in net but Jones was just offside after the Yak with a great header across the goal.

There'll be enough room for your fans. Its on Sky and on a tuesday night so I shouldnt think youll bring more than about 5 or 600

Our fanbase is always underestimated. Without the other lot, this along with Rovers, is our 'derby' this year so even on a Tuesday we should take more than that

Sold 550 last I heard

Fantastic

We’ve been the better side, goal ruled out and Massey bricked it when in front of goal should really score there.

We play some lovely stuff… if we can get a striker or two in.

Intriguing half that. We’ve won the midfield battle so far and limited them to barely an attempt on goal worthy of the name. See what adjustments come for the second half but so far so good from us.

Very frustrating half at the abbey, total balls up for the goal although Andrew was pushed. If we play it on the ground we’ve got an excellent chance in this, lumping it long just plays in steveages hands, need to push up an extra few yards in the final third as ahadme is to isolated.

Totally dominant should be 3-0 up

Bolton playing a proper team on saturday not the relegation fodder they have been handed so far

Charlton the better team so far, but not really done anything to say they deserve to be winning.

We've looked completely disjointed, our passing has been awful.

Charlton will be annoyed they haven't really taken advantage of our poor play. Hopefully we can improve 2nd half

Poorest performance of the season so far, but at the moment looking like the best result so far. Funny old game..

Blackpool had a lot more play second half targeting Plant down the left but even then we’ve looked the more dangerous when we’ve been in possession. Good performance from us regardless of how it ends.

Fleetwood have come out fighting in the second half and Baxter has had to make a few really good saves. Adeboyejo just had his 4th goal ruled out for offside but looked on tbh. Very close

12 vs 10 at Adams Park, most one sided ref I've seen in years.
A disgrace.

This ref is a complete idiot. Sent off Charles and Evatt for literally nothing, after sending off Charles instead of Kachunga last season too. Definitely has it in for us. Probably no Evatt and defo no Charles for Wigan at the weekend. Fantastic

Hanging on now. Been an interesting game as 0-0’s (so far) go.

Cracking point on the road that, huge defensive effort and in reality for all their play they didn’t force a save. If Garrity pulls that ball back at the right pace we win that.

After shipping 7 we’ve gone 2.5 games without conceding almost.

Gladly take that point. Had to bite on the gum shield defensively second half but showed a lot of organisation. Still looked very decent in possession though.

4 points from two of the relegated sides, take that any day.

Looked like a ref being a jobsworth and trying to enforce the new rules to the max.

Sure constantly seeing dissent and abuse isn’t good but it’s never going to just disappear really and some emotion will be shown

Frustrating not to see that out especially 2-0 up with 5 to go. We were not smart enough, just inviting pressure.

First half i felt it suited us. Northampton with a lot of the ball, but we looked comfortable. A ridiculous finish from Hackett-Fairchild and the end of a great passing move. Northampton only really able to threaten from long range, except for the header close to HT.

We changed formation to go 4 at the back and extra body up front for 2nd half. Hopefully Kennedy holds his hands up, that did not work. Northampton all over us for first 20-25 mins 2nd half.

Sorensen coming on helped to stem the tide and we scored through O'Connor. Was he offside? Either way Northampton players just stopped for some reason.

Just as game petering out, Northampton manage to get through our defensive unit. Game on, especially as you don't know how much extra time added on. Min 6 mins, Northampton score last kick of game to equalise. Very much deserved.

Quite enjoyed Northamptons commentary, very fair except for the odd mistake, such as Brian House and Reece Hackett Fairchild playing for us apparently

Felt referee actually gave us more than Northampton. Certainly looked a pen against Roughan too. Hoskins going down was a defo dive though.

Best of luck to Northampton, you've got a good side there.

Well RIP to the abbey stadium 23-24 invincibles despite being huge favs against everyone at wom. Any stattos know what the record is for longest winning streak at home in league one? Their 1 game must have gone close.

Well look really solid with the Yak in there.

Had we had a striker first half think we win that. Need to get Wilson up to speed and Ellis back because our play around the box with Chislett and Arblaster is superb.

Yeah, 1 point from 2 home games isnt a great return (though expectations this season is a relegation battle, and our budget is supposedly bottom 2, so not wholely unexpected), but a last minute equaliser always puts a good shine on things, especially going into our derby Saturday.

Also felt good to get one over the moaners. Hoskins only a league two standard player, despite being League two pots, scoring 2 in 3 games. Appere should be sold to a non league team etc. Vindication in part for the manager who kept faith in his players from the promotion and hasnt changed them.

Difference in League one is clear though, Lincolns goal today and Wigans on Saturday don't get scored by League two players other than once in a blue moon.

Good take.

Why did MK move us to a back 4 for a good 20/25 minutes when it was evidently not working? I just don't get that.

Really annoying goals to concede - the first - Eyoma just get it out. The second was playing an extra 60/90 seconds okay but you can't let the opposition take a throw-in a good 20/25 yards ahead of where the ball went out. If that was at any time other than over-over time, the ref pulls it back.

That spell at 4 at the back cost us - I just don't get it at all and I don't think we'll be going back to it.

I'm not sure what the purpose in this is in all honesty Soz.

Yeah he was outstanding in both boxes. We definitely seemed to tire late on which is unsurprising given the shift put in so that might mean Croz has a couple of calls to make for Charlton on Saturday. At the very least they've earned their day off tomorrow.

Only blot on the night was some absolute bellend in the away end who actually thought it was a good idea to throw a flare on the pitch and stopped the game WHILE WE WERE ON THE ATTACK!!! Shame as the support sounded immense otherwise on the stream.
