Looking forward to this. We always struggle against Sutton, they are so direct and shithousey. They are very good at what they do mind. I think Lee's sides are better setup to deal with oppo like this than under the previous manager.

Beat them, maybe an unlikely play off push on the cards?
We've struggled to match them physically in the past, but now have more players who can compete in that department.
If we have a firm ref, who won't put up with their shananigans, I can see us winning.

Southerners can't handle a bit of windy weather....

T'is only off because nobody is allowed in a crane in this weather to inspect the BB. It's absolutely fine, but if something did happen and we hadn't checked it then... Well I think we all know

Surely that would apply to most football stands, why is the Big bank so special?

There wasn't much of that happening on Tuesday night they just couldn't live with us, and we should have scored 5/6.
Their CB Rowe looked like it was the first time he'd stepped onto a football pitch!

Whatever happened to the phasing out of terracing? I thought clubs had some sort of time limit to get from tinpot to mainstream.

Seems like the south has been affected more. It's blowy up here but not disastrous. I'd be surprised if our game was called off.

I can't place our form at the moment. We still seem a bit up and down since our enforced break and we desperately miss Gibbons and Conlon to add the drive and creativity.

Tranmere should be bang up for it having had a couple of defeats on the spin. They don't give much away but they don't seem free scoring. I'd be surprised if there's more than a goal in it as we're not exactly banging them in for fun.

Looking forward to a few beers in liverpool before and after and we should bring 1500 or so.

Tbf it was the first time he’d stepped on a pitch in about 3 months as he’s had a foot injury. Very borderline if he would play, but with injuries and illness in the squad we could only name 5 subs on Tuesday, none of whom were defensive players, and 2 were 40 year olds to be used only in dire emergency meant we were left with little choice but to play Coby.

Numbers and availability are likely to still be an issue heading into tomorrows game, so I’m not overly optimistic.

Some clubs still prefer a covered terrace to sitting uncovored in the rain, when everyone stands up anyway

It’s going to be another desperately bad defeat tomorrow.

I’m missing the match due to having covid, and truthfully I’m not even bothered. I’ll watch the game on ifollow from the comfort of my home knowing that i can switch it off at any moment.

This is the worst Carlisle United team I’ve ever seen and it’s an absolute chore to watch it.

Carlisle 0-2 Swindon

You've done well to spring back from a really poor run.

When we played you in November it was such a comfortable victory that I thought you might struggle. You had Cullen up front, who I quite like but he offered very little threat.

Decent club are Hartlepool, so I'm glad to see that you won't be going back down.
I liked Cullen but he never scored away from home and just wasn’t suited to that. Natural finisher but just a shame his injuries ruined his career really. He finally hit a run of form and games just as covid hit frustratingly.

If you think about wanting to drive Robinson to Bradford for example, with Cullen I genuinely wish him well.

Tbh I’d rather the games were called off just because the wind is going to ruin a decent game of football.

It’s not often I’m entertained by a 0-0 dominated by the wind

Good news we have a game on today. Hopefully don't end up regretting that fact come around 5pm.

All signs point to it being a tight game, apart from FGR their defensive record at home is as good as you can get. I do feel if we can play our high tempo game though then with the volume of games Tranmere have played recently maybe it might start affecting the older players like Peter Clarke.

Be nice to bag an early goal or two today. Seems like Col U are going to come and have a go judging by what their gaffer says

Hope the wind does not effect our liquid football too much today.

Probably the most predictable result of the day so far is Salfords game being called off. Feel bad for any Crawley fans making that journey. At least in our case when it happened it's not a particularly difficult trip to make.

Pitch inspection for us at 1:30 apparently. It only started raining at 10.30 but been raining heavy ever since. Very touch and go.
