We need to sort this ASAP, will be aiming to be in the ground for half 2 saturday and have a beer inside.

Proper jekyll and hyde that, watched in ifollow and the first 15 were well up there with the worst i’ve seen in some time.

Thought the penalty was soft, but after saturday we deserved it and the goals.

Still annoying as realistically we should be on 9 or 10.

Had a chance to rewatch, Lapslie was onside, definitely a penalty too.

Referee even got the sending off right, and the Wimbledon manager moaning about Quinn going down ‘like he’s been shot’ is ironic because one of his own did the same thing with Oates on the touch line from a push on the back. Quinn was probably a tad lucky, but from a video vlog on YouTube I’m not sure if he kicked it at the player on purpose on not, but if he did you could say he got away with it.

Common misconception. Water actually leaches more slowly into arid drought ground than ‘normal’ summer ground. Barely more quickly than already-waterlogged ground.

Yeah I actually found out about that the other day, my remark was in regards that the new pitch not been tested by the rain yet because it’s rained so little before the last few days.

Even if a pitch gets re-layed it's not going to be a solid mass of soil underneath, you'd have kept watering it during the recent heatwaves.

The rainwas horrible last night a few miles west, the difference being that Doncaster have a new stadium with (presumably) modern drainage systems that could handle the big downpour, whereas Blundell Park is an old ground without. The heatwaves will have little to do with it.

Still early days and time for them to come good, like you not really gonna judge any of them until at least the first 10 games, been impressed with a few and less than impressed with others, will say I don't like us playing with a lone striker, he's just too isolated and has to do all the graft himself, need to play a proper 532 or 433 and got some bodies around him or our shots on goal are going to continue to be in the handful.
If I hadn't had already bought a ticket,I wouldn't have went when I saw the team sheet,Feath & Cooke in midfield,jeez.
Wingers again getting in the way of Sterry & Ferguson bombing forward & poor Umerah on his own up front again.
If PH can't see Umerah needs a strike partner, then we're in deep shit & how young Taller can be in the squad over Crawford & Shelton is plain crazy.
At least the Tranmere players livened up the crowd, going down like they'd been shot every 10 minutes,it was like watching Sutton in the good old days.

Aye I don't wanna single out Ellis for any flak but he isn't ready for it, much like Isaac Fletcher last year.

If it had been the other way around you would say it was a deserved red, you can’t do that, especially in front of the official
No I wouldn’t. It just simply wasn’t a red card in the laws of the game.

You, like the officials obviously didn’t see it properly the first time by the way you described it.

Every ref Stockport have had this season has had an agenda against them. It's so strange.
Have they?

Can you point to where anybody has said that?

I’d suggest not unless you’re quoting no nothings on Twitter which every club has.

On the opening day we rightfully didn’t get that last minute penalty against you lot as Horsfall was offside.

Against Stevenage the referee rightfully gave them a pen and sent off Palmer.

Last night the ref was shite and the officials completely fucked by sending off MSH though I’ve admitted he made a mistake himself by giving them the option.

Good opportunity for the locals of grimsby to have a much needed shower too

Just saw you got a full 90 out of Tomlin too. Did he slow down towards the end of the match at all or was he going for it all the way through? He'll be some signing if you can get him purring consistently.
Perfect game for Tomlin last night. Playing against 10 men defending deep and putting no pressure on the ball.

Different story if it’s 11 v 11 and we’re in his face I bet.

A view about the other side. Some of their chavs thought it was OK to sing “Ryan’s in a box” tonight. Utter scum.
There is proof now apparently lucky there was no one of any consequence there last night or the morons chanting this wouldnt think it was so funny absolute disgrace the lad was 22.

What is this in reference to fella? I suspect I can work it out but would be useful to know the background.

Some of the folk at football that think this kind of stuff is funny/acceptable I really can't understand. Demon drink probably.

Same old from us. All the ball, comfortable in defence and midfield then have no ideas in the final third. Then for the second away game on the bounce we go full retard in stoppage time and throw away a point.
A mirror image of Pools, apart from the last minute goals.
I'm looking forward to Saturdays cracker, not.

2nd away game in a row we’ve paid the price for not sticking chances away. Thought Crewe looked like a relegation candidate in all honesty but can’t judge these things on one look. They might be grateful for 9 point start come the end of the season. Obviously we need to start scoring goals to avoid being sucked into a long season ourselves but our performances suggest we should be ok.
We certainly looked shaky, especially in the 2nd half. But we do now have the ability to see these sort of games out. We would have definitely lost that game last season. Going forward we wernt quite at our most fluid bar the goal which was a lovely move. But on most days our attacking 4 who ever they may be are 4 of the better attackers in this league. Especially Dan Agyei who's started the season on fire, and we still have our best striker in long to come back from injury.

Overall though it's abit of a transitional season, and we will no doubt have our ups and downs, I'm not worried about the relegation area of the table though, we have enough fire power to be stay comfortably midtable.

As for Sutton I thought you looked very organised physical and fit, worked very hard but lacked quality in the final third. Again I'd say a middle of the road sort of team.

Could be a good game. We were very open against Colchester and I'd expect the same on Saturday. You'll cause us plenty of problems if you go down the flanks; both Halliday and Ridehalgh are pretty poor.

In today’s things that never happened WAGMI United are on Twitter saying that one of our directors turned to them and said ‘class will always beat ass’. Which patently never happened.

He is pessimistic yes.

What he is not, is an obnoxious prick, like you are.

You let me know if you're coming to Brunton Park when we play you up here..

Fair enough, Agyei looked decent. Didn’t really feel like any of the others up top troubled us. Goalscorer did his job I guess but mainly just gave away silly fouls.

Very frustrating result for us, we really needed that to kickstart our season and I worry for the teams confidence. First half was very much won by you after our well taken early goal, you pressed us into submission and won almost every second ball, we couldn’t settle into our possession game and nothing was really flowing. You’ve got to be one of the biggest sides in the division, your players looked massive against all of ours.
Second half was a different story, we came out with increased energy whilst you guys gave us more time on the ball which is exactly what we like and we bossed it really. Nadesan has to be the most frustrating footballer I’ve ever seen, gifted with pace and movement but the lad couldn’t even finish his dinner, glad he unselfishly laid it off for the equaliser. The winner was completely against the run of play after we inexcusably gave the ball away. Draw would have been a fair result but it’s a hard one to accept.

Betsy seems to be catching some heat online, people saying he’s under pressure already? As an opposition fan you can see what he’s trying to do and second half you played some really nice stuff

Because you love it when we lose, losing is very much in your comfort zone.

In what world do I love it when we lose? How in fucks name has your brain come to that conclusion?

There’s a difference between expecting to lose and wanting to lose.

For example I expect we’ll lose at Stevenage on Saturday. But does that mean I want us to lose? No.

Fucking hell!

Macdonald and Mayonaise apart, I thought you looked like the old Hartlepool. The one that got relegated out of the football league!

Our worst ever start to a football league season. 1 point from a possible 12. Fewer shots and fewer shots on target than the opposition in every game bar 1.

I can see what he is trying to do. I can see our back line is decimated by injury. I saw some lovely passages of play but that first paragraph of mine needs to change.

We've had people saying we were unlucky and I need to go wobble my head but I'm not sure how you can unluckily let in three goals at home!

I dont think he will be given the boot anytime soon and he deserves some time and some slack but the start we've had is terrible.

Saw some comments about refereeing earlier. Steve Martin had a good game last night. Not 100% sure there was a foul for the free kick goal and one decision near the end was plain wrong but overall a decent game.

Unfortunately with recent success we've attracted a few younger nobheads that seem to be intent on causing trouble. Safe to say it doesn't reflect the views of the other 99% of us and we are all pretty sick of it. Hopefully they'll have an idea of who it is and they'll never step foot in our ground again. The actions of one or two giving the rest of us a bad reputation as always.

Behave he thrust his hand out and the follow through hit Rowe under the chin, it’s irrelevant how hard it was, your player had a brain fart and paid the price, maybe you’ve bought too much into the pre season hype because even with 11 on the pitch you wasn’t as good as Sutton
