He's becoming a parody of himself now. I wonder if he will start talking about himself in the third person like Graham Westley did.

Denzel.

I feel dirty but.....come on Bolton. And a couple sending offs for Mansfield would be handy

Referee is trying his best Vanni.

We were the better team in the first half but Bolton did have a few chances.

0-0 h/t playing ok as are Mansfield....We have gone closest hitting the post from the impressive Afolayan
Lee controlling the game in central midfield. Bowery there main threat.....just about even at half time
Maddison needs to get better though

Mansfield are a very good side - they play some really intricate stuff in the final third. What a top manager Nigel Clough is to completely turnaround the fortunes of this side.

Game could go either way, Mansfield probably shaded the first half. I'd take a point here.

It's what champions do, Chris.

True, playing badly and winning is the mark of champions, but lets be honest, we were an utter shambles defensively yesterday. Keep playing like that and we'll get a few pastings, Oldham should have had 5 or 6 and we kept giving them the ball, even our keeper joined in the fun throwing it straight to one of their players for no apparent reason.

Tbf not playing or even being able to train properly for 2 weeks will have had an effect, so very happy we somehow got the win and scored a few goals.

Just got in from work.

Wow, that’s some throw away, well done on the belief from bolton mind

Being 2-1 up going into injury time sunday and drawing 2-2 then being 2-0 up with 10 to go and losing 3-2 isn’t a sign of a playoff side.

still, bolton had an extra day off so was probably going to tell at the end and sadly did.

We are a good side but, I’ll be honest, whoever we are against even if it’s 2-0, you can always sense a bottlejob - hence I predicted it before they scored either of their first two fluke goals.

So disappointed, we were completely cruising, you could argue the subs changed the game, we don’t have any strength in depth to make those changes.

Great result for Bolton though, against a team that were better than them for the vast majority, but it don’t mean nowt when ya haven’t got any bollocks. I think we will go on a slump now, the fun is over for now lol, our unbeaten run is done and we haven’t won in three.

Still think we’ve got loads to be positive about though. it’ll back up cloughs point of needing better backup, when we drew 1-1 with bolton earlier in the season we were 23rd were now 11 points clear.

We’re moving in the right direction. dust ourselves down and go again

0-0 at half time then it was just a comedy of errors.........Mansfield scored from a howler from gilks
Bad defending for Mansfields second.
Then Mansfield paid us back
Johns cross sailed in over the keeper then John crossed and it went in for a og off a home player

Then Arthur its a peach from 25 yards

no we did not deserve 3 points tonight.....Mansfield were better on the night and we are far from being a good team despite our outlay
We have played better than that and lost the same last Saturday

WE ARE GOING UP !!!!!

Definitely, this is a set back but ultimately we are going in the right direction.

Bit of a fluke result that to be honest. We looked awful second half, how the hell we scored three goals I'll never know.

Mansfield one of the best sides I've seen this season, just looked a bit leggy towards the end. Their lack of depth will probably be the sole reason they don't make the playoffs.

Agreed, whereas we could make a strong argument for having starting XI at least as good we don’t have that backup and that result will honestly do us good in the long run.

Given bolton had more options on the bench and had an extra 24 hours on us it was always a distinct possibility.

Yeah, I was pissing about there, surprised but pleased we're still in the autos really, Coops usually manages to fall out with someone key or we have a slump around now most seasons. Did think it was the lack of goals that was holding us back so maybe if we have that sorted and can go back to defending we can keep ourselves there or thereabouts. Impressive with a squad that's solid with no real standouts IMO, even Stokesy while a good player at this level is hardly a star.

Dont know if you are genuine or just ill informed.....I would say the championship is where we belong
Will we go up.......Until tonight i 100% thought we would
Playing like that we have no chance

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evatt is his own worst enemy at times.....The goalkeeping situation is not resolved or has not all season
Though i am happy with Gilks despite tonights howler we signed a young keeper deadline day from Burnley
Not even been named on the bench.
Midfield Mj Williams is not good enough or Maddison on current form/fitness

We have got a decent squad in numbers and Sarcevic, Brockbank and hopefully Politic to return in the coming weeks
We certainly are a club in transition
