Yeah we don't really have enough pace in the squad full stop and those with a bit of it are out injured, it's one of the things we need to sort for next season and has made us very clunky because when you defend a bit deeper, you can't then counter particularly well and get up the pitch.

Makama is a young lad still learning the game, doesn't really know use his bit of pace and really shouldn't be playing as many L1 games as he has been doing (although he bossed Orient's defence in most of the home game this season).

Chances are we'll play Collins and Draper up front who are more back to goal strikers.

Certainly don’t fear anyone, but up against Wrexham’s hostile home crowd, direct style of play and, if we’re being honest, the officials, it’s going to be a tough night for our extremely young squad.
Sounds suspiciously like fear to me.

Don't know why you're getting a mountain of excuses in early doors, you're on a great away run and we lost our last home league game. Nobody knows how we will react to that, simply not used to it.

Will be watching the Orient game later. Orient are the best team I've seen this season, excluding the Brummie Galacticos, so will be interesting to see how they get on tonight in a really tough away day. Pretty huge game given their fixtures, they'll really want to keep momentum up going into a run of Bolton, Birmingham and us.

Played Wigan off the park up there and lost 1-0.

We've done well against some of the better teams in the league recently now's our chance to play well and win against a mid table side. If we can't beat those close to us we don't deserve to stay up.

Ibrahim will be suspended so we should see Fraser get his first start. Looked good v Wycombe when he came on but Wycombe were pushing us backwards by then.

Scraping the barrel for excuses here. It'll be 0 degrees and you aren't a rival or big club, so it'll resemble a morgue for 80% of the game.

Not to mention....

and, if we’re being honest, the officials, it’s going to be a tough night
Erm, we recently got our first home pen for almost a year or something.

We are so light in midfield we have recalled 18YO Kofi Shaw from his loan at Yeovile.

No Ward or Hunt tonight. Sinclair's starting despite offering nothing these days, and Jevani Brown is in from the cold and on the bench (although im sure the bench will be pretty cold tonight!).
May as well give Wycombe the points now :bg:

no Kone for us at least (good from your perspective).

Simons, creative midfielder from Hull on loan, gets his first start. He looked decent on Saturday so let's hope for a shift.

Fin Back, defensive lynchpin of the Carlisle side that were the whipping boys of L1 ( :ohm:) also makes his first start.

Look to all the attacks going down that side then.

Hunt is a massive loss for us probably more than Butcher. Been our best player recently.
I'm no Mystic Meg but I predict you will score from at least 1 corner, maybe 2

Looks like we’ve gone with three at the back but only one of them is an actual centre back lol.

Having seen our starting XI and Wrexhams, I think they'll win this one, no Currie is a big blow for us and the amount of money at their disposal is actually staggering. No shame in losing to a squad that cost 3 or 4 times ours combined (minimum).

Been better side first ten looking dangerous, they get two corners, free header in each one they take the second and score.

Was obvious when the teams came out we will struggle aerially against Lincoln, not playing Flint from the start was a mistake, it’s took an injury to get him on, they look like scoring every half. The

We’ve been the better side and looked dangerous at times but Lincoln have defended well every time when required, very strong shout for a handball penalty but I need to see that again, very frustrating half with Lincoln playing the time waste card effectively.

We should be winning but only ourselves to blame for switching off.

Orient have some good players so it's anyone's game really. We need to be more clinical in the second half of we are going to win this.

Decent first half watch that and 1-1 is fair enough. Rathbone is our player of the season, he is brilliant.

meh game so far, we've had marginally the better chances I would say but BRFC forced a full stretch save from our keeper.

Our crossing has been poor and we've created little up front - we have no recognised striker on the bench either so this just goes to show where we're obviously lacking.

Gas fans on their forum are saying we don't look like a team challenging for automatics and I can't argue.

Having Fletcher and Longman to bring on is handy.

Wigan are playing us off the park. Our midfield is not working at all. Holes all over the place. We are playing like strangers.

Wigan deservedly took the lead after we gave the ball away cheaply in midfield and they worked an opening down their left for a cross no one wanted to stop to a forward no one wanted to mark

Just getting ready for a poor night and we score a cracker. RHM runs down our left crosses it in and it's laid back to Barker who hits a screamer from the edge of the box. Worth watching.

If we don't improve we will be toasty in the second half.

Hanging on in there at Hollywool. Our makeshift defence looks like conceding every time Wrexham hump it into the box. Need to get Randell Williams and Jamie Donley more involved in the game.

Struggling with LO right back (Galbraith) coming infield dragging Jimmy in. Often 3 on 3 at the back

He is our best attacking midfielder, so he can be a real pain from fullback. Would love to get him further forward but both our right backs are injured.
