Well played tonight our inexperienced youngsters out fought and out thought by a strong experienced spine of Clarke spearing and Vaughn tranmere best side we’ve played up to yet
Didn't think we played that well to be honest! Solid but unspectacular, is probably the best way to describe it. We were missing bit of attacking flair which made it a game of few chances, but fortunately plenty of Oldham players seemed to be having off days.

Well we at least showed a bit of fight tonight. That doesn’t make up for the glaring lack of ability in this squad, however. Cheltenham deserved the win in the end.

Noticed we have you country bumkins on 1st May.....could be for the championship
All being well we will all be back in the grounds.......A big game like that we will give you 5,500 tickets for the biggest game in your history. I would expect you to return 5,300
We took over 30k to Wembley for the national league playoff final against morecambe a few years back and sold out allocations at a lot of much bigger clubs than Notlob so don't you worry about ticketing.

It's not a particularly attractive fixture for us but I'm sure we will attend in numbers if you ever manage to get out of Tier 3 covid restrictions.

Think we will all have the vaccine by then...Think we brought 80k to Wembley for the first cup final
I really hope its a game you need points for....Champions, Automatics play offs.
We are a fair club and would expect us to charge you only £50 a ticket........5500 tickets
Doyles salary sorted for next season.......happy days

Christ, I remember Bolton only scraping 10k home fans for a certain league cup semi final first leg a few decades back. That was when it still meant something, too.

You're a big fish down here, but you're no giants in the grand scheme.

Not seen you before, over 2000 posts .Bet your glad to be out.
Pathetic attendance by home and away fans both legs.
Grand scheme of things we are indeed mediocre and should be a decent championship club.

Bolton get very poor attendance considering the size of the town, 11k average attendance last season despite having a population of 280k.

Nothing to shout about really.

We’re looking very good at the moment and scoring plenty but I suspect Saturday’s game away at Cheltenham will be a proper test to see where we are.

Still, a fantastic win tonight and so pleased Bowman has found his form. UTC

Colchester v Crawley was a good first half. Crawley on top then Colchester venture into our half and score a screamer. They then get on top and we score a scrappy equaliser from a corner. I'm watching thinking this is a good game and looking forward to more of the same.

Second half was scrappy. Both teams giving the ball away and really not good enough from both. A lovely save from each keeper in the only chances until injury time.

Not sure what happened but we could of scored 3 goals. First a clever move forces a decent save which leads to a corner. From said corner Tunnicliffe shoots but puts the ball over the bar from six yards when not challenged. Then a few seconds later we manage to set Frost up with a clear shot on goal from five yards. The keeper spreads himself but Frost shot straight at him.

Cat flying over the garage !

I've calmed down a bit now and a point away at Colchester aint bad but that cat better not come back in tonight!

No shock last season with the attendance. We was always going to finish bottom if indeed we could limp to the end of the season.
We are surrounded with the best clubs in Europe and have way to many glory hunters.
That coupled with moving our ground to the opposite end of the town also alienated supporters.

Where else in England do you need to catch 2 trains for a home game in the same town

Horwich isn't in the same town as Bolton. How many times.

Every town has way too many glory hunters. There will be more Man United fans in Scunthorpe than Scunthorpe fans despite being nowhere near Manchester.

It's just a bit stupid bragging about attendances as if Bolton isn't a huge place compared to a lot of the clubs in L2.

We sold out both allocations, home and away. Not sure how we could have done any more than that

Softening the blow of inevitable relegation by betting on us to lose, easy money.

I am not....just saying we play Exeter in May and it will proberbly be A a game with something at stake for one if not both teams, B the away end can fit 5.5k Exeter

Try having Liverpool and Everton within 6 miles of you. Wigan Athletic are your nearest club. A rugby league town.

The only part of Prenton Park with gaps was the away end. Its on YouTube for visual reference.

Good to see James Vaughan score his 8th league goal of the season (or 4th if you are a Trump like fake news maniac)

No interest in it...Who wants to watch a game where you have your ballboys briefed to cheat.
Ten minutes every time you got a throw in. Drying the ball every time with a towel.
And with followings to both clubs, bar the semi final we have sold out every time we go to prenton park

Someone like Blackburn or Wigan. In fact, I can't think of many teams that would sell under 50% of their capacity for a major cup semi final, even if it was a little bit nippy outside.
Gone fishing ......not working
Please explain in the final why the att was only 74k with over 50k from Leicester
