Best performance from Vale since returning from our break.

Edmondson been really good, Wilson dropping into nice little areas and Garrity having himself some game with his running. Smith I think has won every aerial ball against Matt so far. More of that second half please Vale!

Outplayed and outmuscled so far, impressed by Vale again, look a threat and their pressing is forcing us to give the ball away constantly. We can’t get anything going yet, hoping we do better with the wind. Might get Adams or Sweeney on to give us a bit more bite in midfield and a bit more height to defend Hussey’s set pieces.

Surely Forest Green will change their tactics as this playing out from the back is just playing into our hands.

Why is the referee not giving cards out? At least 4 FG players should have been yellow carded which puts them on a knife edge second half.

Classy from the FGR players with shushing fans and celebrating in front of the home fans. You would think they would have a bit of class considering their position but it's the usual way with the virtuous lot - always the hypocrites. The corner that led to the goal was gained from an offside position too.

Thought they came back into it second half without every really looking like scoring - Smith dominated Matt but they had a couple of decent players on the ball. Disappointed with a draw as I thought we were the better side and 3 unbeaten should give us a platform to have a real go.

Just because we led so long it feels a slight letdown at the end but proud of the effort from the team tonight. Went toe to toe with them all game and if we can look every bit the equal of the runaway leaders then we’ll be fine.

All the back three were excellent, Hussey keeps on improving, Garrity caused them constant problems and the front two linked up really well. There’s lots to be positive on tonight I reckon.

Good luck to FGR rest of the way not they’ll need it.

Happily taking that point from Harrogate, both teams had chances to win it including goal line clearances for both. Felt like the wind and bumpy pitch made it a bit of a farce at times.

I feel like Harrogate don’t get enough stick on here in comparison to say Salford, it’s on par with them.

Wasn’t pretty but 3 points is all that mattered after Saturday. Especially with Northampton, Mansfield and Swindon all dropping points. Good to open up that slight gap between 4th as well.

We deserved the win without being spectacular whereas Stevenage didn’t look to dangerous until the final 10.

Onto Barrow on Saturday!
