After winning our 4th game on the trot we entertain Grimsby and the chance to win 5 Football League games in a row for the 1st time since (i think) 1967.
We could put another few nails in the lid of Grimsby's EFL coffin if we win this one and move above Port Vale (and maybe Walsall) and a step closer to safety.
I'm expecting a tough physical match - but we seam to thrive on them at present.
Barrow 2 Grimsby 0... so we can get our GD back to zero.

Hope for something like last week. But can't really see Tranmere and Exeter not winning. You never seem to know with Mansfield, hopefully they turn it on and it's a tiring game.

We are playing a lot better for about half a game, but our luck is as poor as our back four. Drawn the last four games somehow, can't see that trend continuing on Tuesday. Barrow to get their 5th win in a row and keep their place in the 4th division, as we avalanche towards non-league football again.

Walsall and Barrow wins would be best although slightly torn as to wanting to climb the table so draws wouldn’t be the end of the world, that said just want safety secured so we can start to look to next season even if it means finishing 21/22nd.

Mansfield v FGR is a great game...........A cold windswept night on that bowling green surface of a pitch will make them fit and ready for Lge 2 biggest game of the season to be played out on sky tv.
Who would have thought 7 weeks back when Sky scheduled this game between 18th place once mighty Bolton and 1st place FGR

Sky announcement was 22nd Feb when FGR were 2nd in table and Bolton 14th.
That was just prior to FGR playing away to Newport where so many of our players picked up long term injuries. Our form since then has been mediocre.
And Bolton were near start of their outstanding run of victories with win over Scunthorpe.

FGR have not been 1st in table this season except for a few minutes in middle of a couple of games.

I'm sure a lot of fans have us down for a 5-0 win on Tuesday (it's one of the most in-form teams in the league versus bottom place, so why wouldn't they?), but I'm sure Grimsby are going to be fighting like mad for survival.

Hopefully Grimsby come and attack us, because I'm confident we can win if it's an open game. However, we've had a fair bit of luck (Cheltenham own goal, shite keeping, penalty given etc) so that has to change.

Even so, I'm going for a draw.

Have a feeling we might get a point against Orient on Tuesday.

Bradford aren't going to do unspeakable things to us.

I am assuming Clarke's red card will get overturned due to it quite clearly not being a red card. If it is not overturned, I have no idea who we will start at CB. He's a RB starting at CB and essentially our fifth choice CB at this point, we have nobody else.

Danny Rowe will have a field day.

3-0 to Grimsby calling it now.

May as well because if we lose that's us relegated

A draw wouldn't be a disaster really as long as Southend don't win. Hopefully Tranmere do the bizz against Colchester. It's a good feeling to know that there is another team below us too now.

This is our first fixture against Leyton Orient of the season. At nearly the end of March. That’s crazy.

Are there any other teams in this league that haven’t yet faced each other this season?

We technically haven't played Bradford (who we do this tuesday) because our game was called off after 5 minutes due to snow.

Our game with Tranmere on Tuesday is the first meeting. Last Tuesday's game at Salford was also the first meeting - we play them both as our final two games of the season.

Looking for a favour from Colchester and/or Mansfield this week. Just one of Tranmere and Forest Green dropping points would be fine.

I can see Forest Green dropping off in the coming weeks. They’ve not been playing that well and missing key players is catching up with them. Games coming thick and fast too.

If we want to keep our faint playoff hopes alive we've got to win Tuesday and Saturday against Oldham which would give us 53 points and something to cling to for a few more weeks at least.

Truth is, we ain't good enough for that and midtable is about our level and we still don't know who our long term manager will be, with it clearly obvious our board are hoping they can give it to Jobi McAnuff if he can have a good run of results.

We're still missing our best player this season James Brophy and we only have wo fit strikers - Danny Johnson who is out of form and Tristan Abrahams who hasn't been used properly IMO, both strikers have also had very little to work with for about 8 weeks.

We did put in a good away performance at Newport on Saturday and I have no doubts we will play in a similar way again. Sit back and play on the break hoping Dan Kemp and Conor Wilkinson can work something like they did on Saturday.

What happened with Murphy? He was scoring goals for fun.

I seem to recall he was playing with an injury but I'd of thought he would be over it now.

If you sit back against us that will suit us more. We’ve been shit recently when teams have got on top of us and put us on the back foot. Taking the game to us would be your best bet.

Big game for us on Tuesday.
The under 18s against Leicester in the FA Youth Cup fourth round.
I'll be watching that.

Haven’t got a clue what to expect from us, but I won’t mind if we shithouse our way to a point or three in Essex.
