The lack of movement has been a real concern. Burgess may as well not be on the pitch and same for McKirdy who offers absolutely nothing when up against a proper opponent. Nathan Smith has been shocking. In fact if I was Askey I'd make a big statement now and sub one of him or Worrall at half time just to let our more established players know that this is just not on and nothing is guaranteed to them. Something needs to be shaken up here.
Wait what? Burgess is on the pitch?

It is unbelievable that after 3 fantastic performances playing 4-4-2 we would change to 5-3-2, a formation we have lost every single game this season with.

This will end 4 or 5

What the hell were Smith and Brisley playing at on that second goal?

It would be nice to think we could turn this around and win but the last time we won and the other team scored was November 23rd 2019

No complaints about this defeat. Tranmere are a good team and will only carry on moving up this table. Got some real quality.
Along with Cheltenham the best we’ve faced this season.

It seems our better performances are only worthy of draws with the odd win every 7 or 8 games.

Something has to change as we can't maintain this win ratio and expect to stay up.

I’m not able to watch unfortunately but good to hear. Just shows how out of depth Jackson was with this team in those defeats to Orient/Morecambe/Crawley etc. Hoping we can hold on but you’re a decent side so not having those 3 points just yet

That came out of nothing. Lifeline I guess for Vale.

Well we are down to 10 men and have been for the 5 minutes due to the stupid subs rule, essentially ending any sort of hope we had of getting back into the game.

Equalise and concede a penalty 30 seconds later.

Last season was a glitch in the matrix. Normal Barrow AFC service has resumed.

We’ve looked like the young team we are tonight. A lot of young boys showing their inconsistency and naivety tonight. Tranmere’s midfield have schooled our inexperienced lads tonight which hasn’t happened for a while.

Huge win against a good Carlisle side that have started the season really well and were sky high in terms of confidence.

We meanwhile keep on moving up the table and we’re really seeing the potential of this squad. Starting to get exciting now! Hopefully we can take this on to the Cup game on Friday against Brackley!

Very poor from us today; actually we weren't terrible in the first half but poor in the second, and about as bad as we've been since that opening run of games against the likes of Oldham and Cambridge. Just an off-day really, Tranmere were good and a number of our players weren't really at it. Tranmere will be in the automatic promotion race, we've just got to move on.

Terrific result for us. A bit of magic from CBT the difference in a tight game. Pleased with our defending but my heart could of done without Scotty flapping at the ball in injury time twice.

Think it’s time for Askey to go. Same mistakes week after week and that tonight was embarrassing, before this run we’d won more in a week than Stevenage in a year.

Absolute horror show and a relegation battle looks the focus now.

Comfortable evening for Oldham. I fear this is the beginning of our "bad" run of form.

That was abysmal tonight. Rodney's goal made it look more flattering on us that it should be really.

Pretty much everybody else apart from him should be thoroughly embarrassed at being a part of that tonight. Just couldn't even get the basics of Football right and you are not going to win much without that.

6-1 didn't flatter us. Genuinely had 6 or 7 other great chances.
Colchester are abysmal

Draw fair result. We played better second half but both sides had good chances to win it. Pitch showing wear which hasnt't helped this evening.

Our worst performance of the season - Oldham have barely had to do anything second half and still scored two.
And the worst of our fans are calling for the manager's head on social media now.
