We are in big trouble if that performance is anything to go by. You can argue that performances and red cards had mitigated the last few losses but we looked horrendous last night.

Absolutely no clue how to create a chance.

I'm really hoping Joyce returning will change things, but last night looked like we had bigger problems than an irreplaceable CDM being suspended.

Tranmere were the worst team to play Mansfield so far but it was the season opener and I agree their squad is decent, but that’s different to being a actual good side over the course of a season, Cheltenham and Newport were bang average against a pitiful Mansfield side

Obviously one game is never the full picture, but what set of fans on here are consistently posting they have a great squad and are a really good team? Cheltenham fans don’t seem to enthused so far despite being 2nd, FGR lost to Mansfield so they clearly have problems, Salford squad is over-rated in my opinion although I do expect them to finish top seven with the new gaffer.

Maybe Cambridge are the ones? That’s one side I must admit I’ve not taken enough notice.

The best team in the division is Barrocelona, they might only show up once or twice a season but when they do good luck.
I'm not sure that you can gauge Rovers from one game under the ultra cautious Mike Jackson to the way we've played since his departure. We're definitely playing well at the moment and making the most of a strong squad, hoping that continues.

I've only seen our home games (save Orient) on Ifollow so far. Cheltenham looked competent against a poor Rovers side and Carlisle and Harrogate were decent. From the limited footage I've seen of other sides, there are a number of sides capable of getting promotion, but none really head and shoulders above the rest.

Consistency is the be all and end all of any league and its hard for most teams at lower levels to get that. 8 pts from every 12 will do you fine for automatic most seasons. 7 will get you into the play offs. Not beyond our reach if we continue being positive in our approach. We aren't built for defensive football. That was Jacksons mistake.

I have told you before but you are either too lazy or too stupid to look. The club publishes its accounts because it has nothing to hide. Clue. Tranmere Rovers accounts search on google will be very helpful.
I have followed your advice and looked at your accounts not pretty reading
You also have three outstanding charges on your ground and land.....ohh dear

As for your sponsor they pay a limited amount to Tranmere for sponsoring your shirts
A sort of care in the community for having a major petrol refinery on your doorstep.

If we could find a way to just play all our games away from home and midweek then we should achieve promotion by February.

There isnt the slightest mention of sponsorship income in those accounts. It does show a debt of £1•2m but considering the club has spent £2•2m on its training ground that is nothing. We own our ground and training ground. Any money lost has been speculation for accumulation. We have not lost millions chasing a dream like Bolton. Our losses have a purpose and are part of a long term plan aimed at making the club sustainable. Listen to the song Money by Pink Floyd. You just became a lyric in it.

Your ground is under mortgage to AIB[allied Irish Bank] I presume your training ground is also
Peter Johnson [Ex Chairman] Owns your social club and land west side of ingleborough road birkenhead
It would be better if i listened to the above mentioned song on a Radio/Tv Station then Nick Mason would get a little MONEY in Royalties.
While you have got your Pink Floyd Records out Listen to a song called Comfortably Numb. You just became a lyric in it

It’s difficult for him to find Grimsby financial figures in a basement full of suspicious paraphernalia.
Why would he be looking for our financial figures in F-I-R-T-H-Y's basement?
This season....last season......next season

This season we will have a shocking set of financial figures as will most clubs, but we will still turn over proberbly treble of Grimsby, your wage bill will certainly not be a third of ours.
That is why it is laughable when we get slated for paying decent salaries to two or three players.
Okay, so your claim wasn't based on anything. What's the relevance of percentage of turnover spent on wages? Ours may be bigger but we made a 145k profit last season, whereas you got deducted points and almost folded.

We got the points deduction prior to the season starting we got relegated...............All these things are correct

Now that was not the question.......Last season was the worse time in Boltons History but these are FACTS

We averaged more fans both home and away than Grimsby.
We sold more merchandise than Grimsby
We sold more refreshments in the ground
We catered for more away fans

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This season despite no fans allowed in the ground as yet

Again more season tickets
more tv money
more merchandise
more i follow passes
better sponsorship
All put together we can afford to pay the 1.5m cap

So, with all that in mind surely you made more profit than Grimsby?

Not that I asked any of this though. I asked what the relevance of percentage of turnover spent on wages is and I'm still waiting.

Not got accounts published since 2017, very much doubt we are any where near profit
We had debts, charges and bad credit to clear up......we are heading in the right direction as we have great business owners now running the club.
We are currently paying monthly debts on the hotel and at the beginning of this season we had to find over 3m
This was agreed when the club was sold so its not a unexpected amount to find.
In all honesty 1.5m is just one of a few bills our owners are having to find this year.

Is that the land in Ingleborough Road that has had 90 houses built on it since the club sold it 6 years. The social club is part of the ground. You need to find yourself a new researcher.

He's absolutely correct though. You live in your own fantasy world where everything revolves around you. You are so far removed from reality that any attempt to engage with you in a rational or reasonable way is completely pointless.

I personally dont have you blocked because I find your delusions somewhat entertaining, but I now know better than to try and directly engage with you.

I don't think you can use this season as an example to be fair.

Swindon lost their top two scorers who were also the top two scorers in the division (I haven't double-checked that stat, but Yates was second for a time at least) and Northampton, whilst they absolutely deserved to win the playoffs on their performances in them, are arguably the worst team to have ever won promotion. They were only heading in one direction when lockdown hit and Vale were very much poised to take their place.

Crewe is an odd one though. We'll see if they've digressed when we play them in the cup on Saturday.
Crewe have done very well given their difficult start - 3rd most difficult prior to the midweek round of games.

Do they pay rent to themselves you dozy cretin. I am not sure how it works for Bolton Wanderers but all the rest of us pay things called council tax and business rates instead of pissing away money on wages we cannot afford.

Apart from your time in the PL building up unsustainable debts to give the illusion of being big time you have never been more than an average sized club since Hitler was alive.

You really need to do better than that....We have been in div 1/premier league From day one all hitlers life until 19 years after his death in 1964. We returned in the 70s,80,90,2000s ...getting a pattern

If you are 52 then Bolton have spent 75% of your life outside the top division. That is not a big club.

You have won 5 trophies since 1946. Excluding an FA Cup win against a club that had lost most of its team at Munich none are major trophies. That is not a big club.
