Very strange game to put on a Tuesday, the reverse fixture is also a Tuesday.
Never sure whether it is better to have the local games on a weekend to maximise attendance, even if the consequence is to make it very hard for away fans to travel the distances required to make the midweek away games like your fixture and the ones at FGR, Milton Keynes, Wimbledon and Walsall.

Hoping for the win but we've a lot of players out , two suspended and a couple of important players injured .
Crewe v Stockport looks a cracker, Sutton look to have a very tough night coming up.

With our key omissions , 4/1 on an away win shouldn't be ignored. That's a tad generous IMO

In other games I have nothing against Colchester, I'm apathetic, but I want to see a home win in NE Lincolnshire. I have a long close family friend connection to the club and really don't want to see Grimsby as low as they are. I thought they would be around 10th this season so surprise to see them in 20th

They are already the majority, at a guess I’d say 75-80% want him gone.
Maybe those on social media but I doubt it is even 50% across the fan base as a whole- those booing yesterday were quickly shouted down by the main body of fans.

Think MK Dons will be a big test without Walker and Smallwood. I'd take a point, I think.

MK Dons (a) - we have a decent record against them.

Ritchie Smallwood and Jamie Walker are missing through suspension. Smallwood in particular will be a big loss - he’s been immense since Hughes left. I suspect Kevin McDonald will play.

Matty Platt will be available following his 1 game suspension. Not sure who will get the nod between him and Ash Taylor. Dispute Osadebe scoring in consecutive away games, I didn’t agree with him starting yesterday. Thought he was poor Vs Wrexham.

GK: Harry Lewis

RB: Brad Halliday
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
LB: Liam Ridehalgh

CM: Kevin McDonald
CM: Alex Gilliead

RW: Adam Wilson
AM: Bobby Pointon
LW: Clarke Oduor

ST: Andy Cook

Quietly confident. 2-0 City

800+ travelling Bantams

Even a win on Tuesday just papers over cracks. I read this analysis posted on The Fishy today;

20/21 - 2 wins in his first 19
21/22 - 2 wins in 14 from October, including 11 losses
22/23 - 3 wins in 13 from October, just 1 league win+ 2 fa cup
23/24 - 3 wins in first 18

It’s not sustainable and it’s every single season, we can’t keep getting away with it

Not looked forward to a game as much as I have this one vs County on Tuesday in a long time. As stated our home form is very good and I back us vs anyone in this league at home. But saying that if any team were to beat us at home I'd say Stockport are that team. Of the teams towards the top them and Mansfield strike me as having the best mix of attacking threat and defensive strength, but we've already played Mansfield which leaves County.

Hopefully Micky Demetriou is fully fit for this one, he only came off the bench on Saturday and made a big difference when he did. Demetriou and Tracy have been the key players for us the last few weeks. There hasn't been a defender that has kept with Tracy recently, so Stockport will have to hope there left back is on his game, but Tracy tends to drift all over the place aswell.

As for the game, as many others have said I think there will be goals but us will be tight.

Crewe 2-2 Stockport (Long, Tracy, Barry 2) 6,200 (2200 County)

We can't stop people scoring against us at the moment. Personally I think it's the way the team is set up. If Williams drops into defence too early it leaves poor Liam Kelly chasing shadows in the middle of the park.

We are meant to play 3421 with William's as a defensive midfielder. If he drops into defence to battle a forward (as against Crewe) it becomes a 4321 with 2 of the 3 being wingers. The 2 number 10s then have to try to get back but if we do win the ball back Orsi is left isolated up front so we have to slow it down at the back which invites a press which...

I have just seen an annoying stat. Seems of the shots against we have, just about, the highest on target %. That means teams are opening us up a lot.

We are due a bit of luck but I doubt it will be v Walsall.

Going to be a very interesting game on paper which naturally means despite both of us being the highest scoring teams in the country it's a 0-0 dull draw. I'd absolutely take that though.

Our left-back is a kid who usually plays as a centre back and in my opinion looks like he is also carrying an injury - so I expect you'll get some joy down that side. Unless of course Touray is back and ready to start, could even see Knoyle perhaps playing on the left if your winger/Tracy likes to come inside on the opposite foot

I just hope no one takes a closer look at those Cameron and McGoldrick yellows, they weren’t exactly subtle about it.

Should give Notts a point deduction for flouting the rulez.

Playing Harrogate just makes me shudder, our record is comically bad against them.

Never beaten them and drew once I think?

Have Stockport sold out for tommorows game? Last I heard you still had a few tickets left in the railway end?

Not sure about McGoldrick's yellow, looked stupid rather than planned but Cameron was begging for the yellow,. Couldn't believe how long he wanted to just boot the ball up the pitch.

Yeah Didzy’s was less obvious, but you’d fancy him to be cuter about it than Cameron anyway wouldn’t you haha.

More I think about it the more it seems planned to ‘manage’ the week with Crowley rested, Rawlinson not coming on when Brindley went off injured early and then Langstaff taken off pretty early when it’s normally McGoldrick. All decisions you’d make if you knew two players were going to miss Tuesday night and you’d already decided your team for that..

Wouldn't blame them for not selling it out considering you charge £72 a ticket.

Sold out today.

Will be giving this one a wide berth and watching it on ifollow. £28 is scandalous for a league 2 fixture especially on a Tuesday night.

I know our midweek attendances can be a tad on the poor side at times but I'll be well disappointed if no more than 4,000 of our own supporters show up tomorrow night
I reckon the gate will be more like 7,000.

Yeah a 0-0 at their place.

I mean when you look at the table each year there’s a clear yawning gap between the sides but it’s always been one of those where we’ve struggled, we’re a lot more physically sound at the back which should hopefully assist us against them.

Absolutely. I'm not really bothering with home games this season. Either ifollow or Cheadle Town v West Didsbury & Chorlton for me tomorrow night.

I’ve been to watch west didsbury and chorlton, it’s the other side of the mersey from work (the other side of jackson’s boat) they’ve a good little setup there.

Morecambe away. We'll continue our season long trend of failing to pick up a single away point and the highlight of my evening will probably be sitting in Lancaster's rush hour traffic and wondering why I didn't stay at home and order a pizza instead. Adkins may as well draw the starting eleven out of a hat, but regardless of who's playing, it'll definitely be 433...
