This is the 3rd time I've seen Bristol Rovers visit Hillsborough.

The game in 91 stands out more than 2010, was 2-1 then and 6-2 last time.

3/1 to win at Derby, I will have some of that! We sit above them in the table, and by Tuesday will have a new manager which I'm sure the players will want to impress.
May even have the luxury of three fit defenders!
Really looking forward to going to Derby, taking the afternoon off work and we will have over 1000 there cheering us on.
Come on (insert name here)'s Red and White Army

We were 4/1 which is as long as I can recall for a league game involving us… we won so no reason you can’t. Odds based on name rather than actual ability.

Ipswich at home for us, tricky task and we don’t know if we will have our main strike force available after they missed yesterday and probably won’t get away without them like we did at Cambridge.

It’s a free hit but we’ve been in these games against the bigger clubs so far so we will give it a go and see what happens, a draw would be excellent but will probably lose by the odd goal.

Tuesday begins a run of three games where anything less than 9 points would be seen as unacceptable. It's a really good chance to establish ourselves as a promotion candidate and we'll need to as the table looks a lot more open than it did a month ago. Anyone from Wycombe upwards could be seen as legit promotion contenders at the moment.

Agreed, but I'd feel more confident if we were playing better football.

Good that Pack's suspension didn't cost us and hopefully he'll be back on Tuesday, although he may still have a hamstring problem. Would be nice to have an estimate for when Lowery and Rafferty are expected back?

Be interested to see what state our pitch is in on Tuesday. Frankly it’s an absolute disgrace how bad it’s been the last couple of weeks, compare it to how Cambridges looked and played like it was a putting green yesterday. Might end up being a leveller if it’s bad but even so it’s not acceptable.

Thought we did a great job yesterday but if we are to look to beat Ipswich we’ll need all our best players available which means Wilson and Harrison up top. It’s a break for us Morsy won’t be playing, he’s a terrific player. Ipswich rightly comfortable favourites but I’m hopeful we can make it difficult for them and then you never know.

We were 9/1 at KO against Ipswich last weekend!

Another toughie, and after Plymouth in mid-November we then have a run until the New Year playing teams around us.

Assuming we have no further injuries, we'll go with the same side as yesterday. An outside chance we may gain Bishop to the available players.

Derby away, would take a point right now to be honest.
Diabate back, Dieng back, Sweeney back from suspension, hopefully Josh Key will actually play at RB, where he actually plays like a footballer, rather than at CB, where he plays like he's won a competition to start.
Oh, and a possible new manager to boot too.

After 3 points yesterday, any points on Tuesday would be a bonus. We're starting to settle in a bit. 7 points out of 9 and looking a bit more consistent (with the odd stinker thrown in) . Ipswich clearly one of the stronger teams in this league and look very strong physically.

Good to hear that a couple of their midfield are out but we have a few injuries cropping up ourselves. Should be a great following from East Anglia for a Tuesday night but as with any game in this division, it's still two division 3 sides going at it, both with deficiencies. Against the better sides, you've got to work harder than them. Hopefully a couple of those rested yesterday will be back and fully up to it.

Cambridge were utter wank the last time we played them, but I’d expect a tougher showing from them this time round.

With last season being a lot more polarised between the contenders and the crapsters, this one seems to have swung completely the other way, into a soupy sludge where one win can rocket you up the table and a defeat can bring you crashing down, so it’s hard to get a fair perspective on most teams’ form.

But I’ll stick my head out and say mediocrity beckons for Cambridge, as it may well do for us. First game I can watch after being in hospital last week though…I’m gagging to see it right now, the question is, will a stay in hospital seem more tempting after watching us again? Hmm.

FGR at home and this is one we need to win. Home form dire, since the beginning of the year we have achieved 2 wins. I consider Scott Brown to be doing a good job, lack of goals up front is a massive problem. No disrespect to FGR but if we can't win this then questions will start to be asked 2-1 to the Cods

Even though we only have 1 point from our last 3 games before that we actually won against Bolton in the league and also won 4-1 v Exeter’s youth team in the Pizza Cup last week so technically are in as good a form as we have been all season. So it could be a close one tomorrow night, wouldn’t shock me if we got a point.

Really bizarre one that. Ellis has been an inspired signing for us, 7 goals in 11 games, just one of them where DC seems to get the tune out of him (as he did at Rovers).

Morecambe at home tonight - it's going to be so fucking depressing when we let them run all over us and beat us 1-0.

Everytime I see morecambe play I expect Kevin Ellison to pop up in injury time and score the winner. He always seemed to do that most weeks. Perhaps he has retired now. Think he went to Newport.

I didn’t watch our game vs Charlton on Saturday via iFollow after last minute plans so had no input into the game. Seems like I didn’t miss much!

Anyway, tonight away at Plymouth for us. Can’t see us getting anything and I expect Plymouth to be comfortable winners come FT. I would normally take a point but after Saturday’s defeat and with Pompey away to come on Saturday, we really need to shithouse 3 points from somewhere. Just can’t see it though.

Plymouth 2-0 Salop

We always struggle against Wycombe and you play a style of football that we’ve just never coped with. We’re on a dreadful run and I’d take anything to break it. I’d love us to shithouse our way to a draw tonight.

Looking forward to tonight, should be a really good atmosphere under the lights with Ipswich brining 1700 and we look set to have a decent home crowd again with the Lorne Street and Railway Stand up to current capacity. Hopefully get 8500 plus in there.

Find out if Ellis and Wilson play as to our chances, some suggestions they were rested Saturday which is barmy if the case but we will see!

I think most Ipswich fans would disagree with me, but I'm expecting us to really struggle tonight and I think you could easily win. We're missing Evans and Morsy who have been crazily good for us this season and really dictate the play. Ball and Humphreys are good replacements but haven't played together much and Humphreys is still a youngster. Further to this, our style is a possession based game, and from what I understand, your pitch isn't in very good condition. Also, I think Port Vale are actually underrated as a team, some decent players in there. Good luck for the rest of the season, after tonight of course!

Unless there’s been a marked improvement from the Wednesday and FGR games the pitch is in an awful state particularly towards the Lorne Street side. From what have seen of Ipswich based on the two Sky games you’re a team that like to press a lot which could be quite energy sapping on there.

I’d say you’ll more than likely win but at home anytime we’ve played one of the top sides they’ve been tight games even if we’ve yet to come on the winning side of any of them.

It depends, we might have Wilson and Harrison out so playing a RWB in Massey and a kid in Odubeko up top, it'll be tough enough with those two but without against your solid back line it will be even tougher.

We have given good accounts against the big teams so far and Sheff Wednesday needed a wonder goal/fluke to win, beat Derby so hopefully we can be competitive but anything would be a bonus, i'd be chuffed with a point.

Our pitch has been a mess, they've tried to underlay it with sand and its not appeared to work, Sheffield Wednesday couldn't play football on it and with the weather I anticipate it being even worse tonight, especially on the flank in front of the Lorne St, I did joke Burns will go on a run and end up dribbling a chunk of turf instead!

Could be a leveller but we are quite a small side so it doesn't really help our play either, and hence our away form is actually better than at home currently.

Good to read Ellis Harrison's article today, talks well of Ipswich and note we are doing a MND awareness night tonight which ties in with Marcus Stewarts link to Ipswich and Darrell Clarke, all money for the Darby-Rimmer foundation which Stewart supports.

Good, old fashioned, well supported club are Ipswich. We had some good games against them when we were actually good in the mid 90s.

Tonight will be tough. Even though they have a first choice midfield out, they still have quality in other areas of the pitch and we'll have to be at our absolute best to get anything.

Pitch could be a good leveller against a footballing side but it's also a hindrance for us. Could do with 3 points out of the next 2 ideally.

I said 4 from the 3 including Cambridge so have three in the bag which takes pressure off... have to admit we do owe Lincoln (all be it thats probably the point the club bottomed out!) one but thats for the weekend!

Just had a look at the games between you, hope you break the winless run against them tonight.
