Good performance from Rovers and a bit unlucky with a couple of decisions. Good to see Gibbo back fit.

Decent point. Both teams had chances to win it. Shame Loft went off injured he has been a key player lately. Onto another big club on Saturday in the shape of Derby

Good game that was in fairness.

Rovers probably had the better chances, Finley’s mint I wish we had a Championship equivalent in our midfield.

Good point that for them though, doesn’t look like they’re in any danger of relegation so I’m a bit worried we might be playing them next year.

Be funny if your fans obsession with Ashton continues if we were to be in the league above you if things were to work out with us and you drop down.

Wouldn't really be much of an achievement if you got up really would it? When you're chucking 7 figure fees at left backs in a league full of clubs who are just managing to get by.

Avon and Somerset's finest must be sweating a bit now :box:

A bit disingenuous toward us. We had a fair amount of shots on goal and possession. Time wasting is pushing it a bit.
Just to add to this…the stats have come out and the ball was in play for 49 minutes of the 101 mins played - less than half the game! And you tell me you weren’t time wasting!!

All teams seem to do it these days. Bolton themselves weren’t too keen on a flowing game at Vale Park when down to 10 men for example!

Teams seem more into the “game management” than in league two, it isn’t a great thing to watch as a spectator mind.

Where do you get the stats for 'ball in play' as i'd be interested to check a couple of our games

A left back that we are likely going to sell for 5m in a couple years time max? That left back?

In recent years we’ve had Mings and Cresswell at left back and Davis is just as good.

I don’t care, he could do his ACL next week and he’s not worth what you paid for him all of a sudden. Big gamble in L1, you’ll find out what he’s about soon enough.

You’re just bitter mate. Just like the other obsessed Bristol city fans. Bitter and resentful about a bloke who’s thriving and finally at a big club.

I was going to ask bitter about what but then I read the last sentence. Bitter about a side winning a few in League One, fuck me

And yet you’re still on the league 1 forum specifically commenting about him. Obsessed.

I don’t disagree tbh but this was just ridiculous… the refs have to take charge and stop it.

It was reported in a few local papers today so I’m not totally sure where they get the info from.

Think DC had it right in between us & Walsall. In reality what would be better would be 2x 30 minute halves where we pause the clock for stoppages

I think FIFA or UEFA were talking of trialling this somewhere a couple of years back. I've been a fan of it for years. Timewasting is the biggest blight on the game and this seems an obvious solution to me. It will therefore never happen.

49 minutes actual game time from 101 minutes is ridiculous, frankly. Looking at the antics of many teams (and we are one of them) timewasting methods are getting more sophisticated. Stopping the clock would make it all go away.

I would love to see this given proper consideration in the professional game, or trial it at least. I'm sure the clock could be synced to the ref's whistle. He or she would then have to blow for every decision though, including throw ins.
