Games are coming thick and fast now as the second of three successive Tuesdays in which there will be a full fixture list approaches.

Crawley v Tranmere (18:30)
Bolton v Bradford
Carlisle v Morecambe
FGR v Grimsby
Harrogate v Stevenage
Orient v Exeter
Mansfield v Barrow
Newport v Colchester
Port Vale v Cheltenham
Southend v Oldham
Walsall v Cambridge
Scunthorpe v Manchester United B (19:45)

All games kick off at 19:00 apart from those that don't.

A few interesting games there... a title six-pointer between Bolton and Bradford (I presume, I haven't looked at the table but they must be the top two right?), while Southend face Oldham and Mansfield face Barrow in the relegation battle.

We're home to Morecambe, would be nice to get back to winning ways... would be nice to just threaten to score to be honest. Morecambe at the moment seem like they could go either way so it'll certainly be a tough game.

Cheltenham at home, we had three absolutely great battles with them last season, winning 3-1 in the FA Cup and two cracking draws in the league. We seemed to cause them more problems than most teams so maybe how we play is suited to playing them and could of won all three (although the home draw was a real ding dong) I don't know but they are a good side, one I admire as they've turned themselves around similar to ourselves. Really tricky one this and a draw would be decent, if we can win though it would set us up really well ahead of facing the bottom two before the cup break.

We've been getting better game on game since our slump and Amoo's return completely changed how we attacked and our ability going forward so hopefully this can continue against a very solid and competent Cheltenham.

1-1

Winless derby away at Mansfield, a place where we always struggled in our Conference days to say the least.

@FGV, I believe they have won at home this season already (we haven't), hope they don't start making a habit of it.

A nice 2-2 draw would do for me, although a magnificent away win would be even more welcome.

I wonder if Grimsby will be like Walsall, Colchester and Morecambe and camp on the edge of their own box for most of the game whilst we pass it around in front of them, or whether they'll come out and play.

It would be nice to be involved in a more open end to end game for once, rather then us gifting a soft goal and then spending the whole game dominating possession struggling to break down a massed defence. Seems to be the same story every week at the minute.

Well we won't have any of our covid players back, still shocking we aren't allowed to postpone. Another game with what is essentially a reserve team.

Had this been at Whaddon Road, I'd be putting every penny I have on a Vale win. As we're brilliant away from home though, I'll take a draw.

As valefan says, all of last season's games were decent dingdongs, and it did seem that Vale had our number which is why a point in the hand is very much where the best I think we can hope for.

They were pretty defensive when we played them but a long way off camping on the edge of their box.

This has got to be the best chance we have of a win since the season begun. Please get a win!

According to our Chairman the EFL have said it's because we have 13 fit players.

There have been various other clubs that have been allowed to postpone despite them having 13 fit players yet we are not.

Nobody knows why.

Crawley v Tranmere

Seems that Tranmere are playing too defensively and if they come out to attack they would be better. I'm hoping for another defensive performance from them. They have some good players so I'm not sure why they are struggling but I hope in continues for this game.

I believe Nadesan is still injured so it will be the same team as Saturday unless the injury to Doherty was worse than it looked. Although we did sign another left back he hasnt been seen anywhere near the match day squad so we my have Dalison or Sesay there neither if whom have played in a proper match this season. Lets hope Tranmere don't have a decent right winger.

Think we should nick this but nothings easy in this division.

No home team ever wins a league fixture between Carlisle and Morecambe.

Get on the 21/20 Morecambe/Draw double chance odds while you can.

Tricky game at home to Exeter, we've got a bit more confidence after 2 wins and clean sheets in a row.

Since we started with the back 5 of Vigouroux in goal with Tunji Akinola at right, Josh Coulson and Dan Happe at centre half and with James Brophy at left back we've looked a bit more comfortable. Right back has been an issue for us because Sam Ling has been shit and the other two we have Myles Judd and Jordan Thomas have been injured.

Be interesting to see how our new defensive shape fairs against one of the leagues stronger sides.

Walsall away. Judging by results so far I would be expecting a draw.

I think we’ll freshen things up as we were sluggish against Bolton and it sounds like Hoolahan will be back.

1-1.

Damn!

We try to play it forward quickly but its not a long ball up to big centre forwards. More played into the channels for fast forwards to run onto.

Relegation 6 pointer at the Reebok, the side who can be fractionally less shit on the night to take the points (Home win).

Casey, why is the ko 6.30pm? Can’t be sure of getting back from work on time and have had problems with both away games I’ve paid for on IFollow, so won’t be parting with another tenner.

Mike Jackson will probably revert to 1 up front again, he’s very cautious in team selection. No idea of the outcome

Mansfield away and as Stags fans will tell you we've not got a good recent record there... but back in our old football league days we have had 7 wins away at Mansfield including 2 x 5-0 victories. Anything could happen in this one - but yet another draw seams the obvious result

Both of our keepers are injured apparently and we are scrabbling about trying to get an emergency loan. We have a 15 year old academy lad who may have to make his debut if we don’t get the loan !. If the lad plays I suspect we will go 5 at the back and defend at Orient and play on the break. We haven’t played that way yet this season

With no fans I think teams are allowed to agree earlier kick off times for the midweek games for the convenience of the away team. Means we’re not getting back to Wirral ridiculously late which then helps with match prep for Saturday’s game against Morecambe.

Yep, spectacularly destroyed Stevenage 1-0 last week, our first home win in 2020. We're on a roll at home now, looking to win 2 straight home league games which is unprecedented.

Holloway's pre-match comments suggest Grimsby might look to press us what with referencing our keeper playing out, rather then just sit back, which should make it a decent game.

'Now we’ve got no rest, it’s a good chance to get back on it against a team that pass for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Their goalie comes out and does little dribbly bits that I’ve never seen anything like.

It’s going to be tough, but I can’t wait. I’d much rather have another game.'

Well it's about time we go out and beat those Morecambe fuckers at home and get back to winning ways.

One change I'd make is to drop Kayode and play Gavin Reilly upfront who is meant to be the best finisher of our forward players, Kayode is too much of a target man who for some reason takes the throw ins into the box when it should be him getting on the end of them.

It's no wonder our front players struggle to score.
