I don’t think there are words that can describe how shite we are, no energy, no desire, no plan. The one thing I can say is I now see why the Ipswich fans are worried because it’s a good job they are playing a pile of shite tonight who have gifted them 2 goals as they look poor themselves

Not sure how we are 3-1 up here. Worst performance of the season. We were so much better against Burton, Sunderland and in spells against Rotherham. Funny old game

I don’t think there’s a quote in the excuse handbook that Wellens can use for the display tonight absolute shambles and disgrace

Got to thank you guys for ensuring we didn't get the biggest spanking of the night. Pretty much echo your comments for our performance though.

What a crazy night for goals in this league tonight! 46 goals in 12 fixtures, that will take some beating this season.

You can guarantee Duff will publicly blame the long journeys on Saturday and tonight.

The sad fact is that when your 2 best defenders, and best player overall, are out then you're not going to perform well enough to win at an in-form team like Sunderland.

Forget it, move on to Saturday against Rotherham.

Goals galore tonight and some impressive results (Ipswich, Sunderland, Oxford and Bolton).

Great for us to get our first away win this season too. Who’s thinking some heads might roll in the morning?

We were excellent in the second half. Tense finish after we gave a silly penalty away but we deserved it IMO.

Fleetwood involved in another tremendous game and we must be the top team in this division for comebacks ( let me also say we are probably the worst team for letting goal leads slip )
Delighted at the results we are achieving especially away from home, 9 goals scored on away days is some going, also we have only played 3 matches at home compared with 6 away.
Scott Twine is entitled to feel p....off a hat trick and still not on the winning side, aside from that a great night for the guy and well done to him

Well we where nowhere near our best and win 4-1 away, makes a change from Burton, Rotheham and Sunderland telling us we are the best they have played but only yield one point, Win on Saturday and we are in the mix. If we are close by the end of October after some very tough fixtures expect Evatt to be very confident the longer the season goes.

We needed that result tonight. Following some shaky results/performances in previous weeks a resounding 5-1 home win

You have to admire Accrington. Even at 4-1 down they kept coming and had they got another they’d have made a game out of it.

Much credit to Nathan Holland and Herbie Kane. Top performances from both.

We were poor for much of tonight, and if Shrewsbury had had better finishers the result could have been very different.

But thankfully, they don’t and it wasn’t.

Aaron Pierre looked well fired up to try and get the “old boy” goal against us, but fortunately it never came.

The Shrimps beat the Imps tonight. As soon as I saw we had conceded first, I can never see a way back. Lets hope it's better on Saturday!

We didn’t get out of first gear tonight. Few things starting to click though. Do feel for you guys. By far the worst side I’ve seen for years at our place. No shape, fight or organisation. It honestly could have been double figures. I don’t actually remember you putting two passes together. Very concerning, last few times we’ve play you I’ve been impressed. Last time we scored 6 was at the keepmoat in 2011 I think! We have an embarrassment of riches, about time we won a home game. Need to go on a run now

Not much to say about the game v Morecambe apart from the Shrimps thoroughly deserved the win, my god were we so poor though. Very little credit to any of our players except maybe Bridcutt and Bishop.

Thumped 4-1 at home to the second worst opposition we’ve played all season.

Tells you everything about where we’re headed.

We did not play well at all tonight yet won, Oxford was the same. Lost to Sunderland and Rotherham and deserved something from both games.
Impressed with Davison and Leko but the rest of your team would not get on our bench
You need a new conditioning coach as your players were blowing up just after half time

And as for Mathews at full back he is not the first or he wont be the last this year to have a complete nightmare against Dapo

So frustrating tonight, gifted Wednesday two goals on a silver platter and left ourselves with too much to do to pull it back. Doing it against a promotion chasing side makes it even more difficult to stomach.

Second half performance was visual porn. Admittedly against an absolute shower of shite.

Cook has us firing. Some great goals tonight and defence is shoring up. Morsy is CLASS, what a debut.

We were awful. Worst we have played this season for sure. We looked really tired after the weekend but got the result. Think you guys are in big trouble until you get rid of Adkins.

Sounded a bore fest at Morecambe, I don't think anything actually happened.

We're worryingly inconsistent. I suppose it's not the inconsistency per se, you'd expect that when the average age is about 22, it's the massive fluctuation between performances that's a concern.

Good solid win for us, looked comfortable through out. Lincoln looked a tidy side on the ball but just had nothing upfront, they never really looked like scoring.

Cole scores again and was superb in the 2nd half, they couldn't get near him. No idea where this massive improvement in his game has come from, long may it continue.

Sorry, put this on the wrong thread

So, Fleetwood were the first team I’ve seen this season where I’ve gone “ooh, they look a bit sharper and quicker than us” at times. they’ll cause problems for a few teams, I’m sure. We were sloppy defensively but had enough clear chances to have won comfortably, but I think we’d have taken four points from Wycombe and last night, so all’s good and onto Donny at the weekend. Can’t see them being as poor as they were last night and I’m sure there’ll be a reaction from them, so possibly not the comfortable away win we were hoping for.

We are now heading into a minor crisis after defeat at Burton. Eight games without a win is testing the fans' patience slightly. The incomplete squad overhaul from the summer has found us short of numbers/quality in defence and up front.

The one bright spot is the improving performances from Joe Morrell who is really looking the part now.

We have a heavy defeat by our old friends Sunderland at the weekend to look forward to now. Hopefully they won't run the score up too much.

No surprise about Morrell, he was superb with us on loan at Lincoln.
