On the off chance that my train to London for work is cancelled tomorrow, like it was today I might brave the 50 odd mile drive up the M1 now I've found out you can POTD. Any recommendations for parking close to the ground Notts fans? (I don't mind a walk if there are better/safer options)

The big car park is the station is three quid for the evening if you get there after six and five minutes walk away, there’s bits of street parking dotted around if you get there early enough.

What was the original allocation Dan? Always interested to hear about away attendances at Meadow Lane.
Bit weird. Original was a paltry 352 which went. Sent another allocation of the same which have gone. Why the restricted allocation. I presume you could accommodate way more than that - not that we would have sold much over 1000 anyway. A few more are going and POTD.

I think it's the same thing that clubs keep doing to us for away games that won't sell out - they want a good estimate of the number coming so that they know how many stewards, catering staff etc. they need, so make it look like you have to buy them in advance then make it pay on the day at the last minute.

Sounds sensible I suppose. Should be between 700-900 I reckon.

Just confirmed we’ve sold 730 so plus a few walk ups.

Understand the phased allocation of tickets but this is Swindon Town FC averaging almost 9000 for home games. Why we would start at 352 is a bit puzzling, one call to the opposite number would have suggested 700 was the right starting figure.

ST holders can bring a friend for £1 for this match if they get their shit together early enough so it's another guaranteed 10,000+ attendance at the Lane.

Should be a cracker. Not confident, though.

Rovers v Bradford. There is no way we'll keep Andy Cook out, so probably need to score at least twice if not more, to have any chance of taking something from the game. It's possible, but despite their own indifferent start to the season, the Bantams must be clear favourites here.

Another team making it into a Cup Final then.

Add them to the LIST.

Nice try, but it’s pretty much every game (well home ends)

Wonder if ollie palmer has grown up yet or if he’s still going to act like a 5 year old, i suspect the latter.

Hat-trick at Newport apart, Cook looks a shadow of the player we had last season.

Poor start to season, missing chances you would expect him to score with his eyes closed, then injured missing 4 games. Came back for the Newport game and scored that hat-trick. Last game out out he was as woeful as every other player in our depressing 1-3 defeat against Walsall.

Lose to you tonight, and the general consensus is that Hughes will be gone

We'll have a double digit following tonight, I'd suspect.

We are still down to the barebones and Sarcevic went off clutching his hamstring so I think that will be another player to add to our ridiculous injury list. It all went to shit once the 2nd string from our bench came on during the Accrington match.

I think this will be a bridge too far for our fitness levels and expect FGR to stop the rot and get a smash and grab 1-0.

The closer we get to kick off tonight the more I'm thinking Gills will do a job on us tonight. They look a tough nut to crack and despite there lack of goals, when you look at the names they have in there team they have alot of quality.

He’ll play tonight for sure along with RHM instead of Austin, I reckon. Not sure Charlie’s legs will take 3 games in 7 days, so he’ll be saved for Saturday.

It’s strange, though, that losing our top scorer for Saturday isn’t that much of a worry with RHM to come in. A real live wire that will harry your back line. Young wouldn’t have been first pick earlier on if RHM hadn’t got injured.

Can we repeat the embarrassment of Saturday, damn right we can. Reported he’s gone tonight if we don’t win, with that in mind it’s gotten to the point now as much as I don’t like to say it but I have to wish Tranmere luck. If we play like Saturday and don’t lose then Tranmere need to prepare for the vanarama.

Our lack of goals is a bit of a misnomer really.
A lot of teams come to our place and put 10 behind the ball. We are not good at breaking that down.
When teams play against us we can be quite good. The first half against Mansfield showed that.
I reckon tonight could be a good game, but I wouldn’t like to call which way it will go.

Can see us winning against a seemingly poor Tranmere side and the Hughes saga rumbles on another week until as has been said we inevitably lose to Swindon on Saturday, rinse and repeat the ‘he’s got one more game’ stuff.

We’re winning tonight, I’ve got a feeling, I last had it before we played Gillingham and we won that comfortably.

Unsure about Mansfield, but he’s scored against us for Barrow Walsall and Bradford. He seems adept at exploiting our defensive weaknesses.
