Very frustrating once more - game should’ve been put to bed by halftime, but there’s little point in all that when you don’t score.

Wrexham came for a 0-0 and never looked like going for anything else, but if that was genuinely their plan they’ve played it well.

It’s another game unbeaten but the amount of games we’ve drawn which we should’ve won is starting to mount, you don’t go up with draws.

wimbledon on saturday needs to be a win.

Ref blows to put us out of our misery. Routine for Stockport who were better in every department without being at their best given the odd wayward pass, but will think they could have scored twice as many at least you'd reckon. Barely ruffled a feather ourselves.

Will take that all day long, never expected us to keep a clean sheet there and we looked a lot more solid second half and showed a bit of threat at least. Okonkwo is a proper keeper.

Mansfield kept crossing the ball in, which is easy for us to deal with. Everyone knows it's when players run at us that we are in the shit defensively.

And the Dons go marching on.. not a great game but a great goal to win it. Harrogate are solid and a decent side lacking threat up tip. We work hard and are very organised.

Second season in a row that Barrow have absolutely murdered us here yet lost, don’t give a shit though we badly needed that win.

Lost 2-1 to Tranmere, a team who had lost 7 of their last 8. Simply not good enough. I won't be attending any more games whilst Hughes is in charge. We're 18th and it's simply unacceptable. That fat German twat of an owner can do one, too.

On that showing I don't think Gillingham will be troubling the promotion race this season unless they invest heavily in a proven centre forward or two in January. Absolutely woeful up top. If you've scored fewer goals than Forest Green and Sutton, you've got major issues irrespective of how good the defence is.

Nowhere near our best tonight and yet we've put the ball in the back of the net twice and Gillingham couldn't even manage that so it's a deserved victory on that basis. Gillingham missed two sitters, hit the post with an excellent effort and forced two outstanding saves from Davies but they switched off twice and us, being the clinical side we are, ruthlessly punished them for it.

Up to 3rd now and a very winnable game on Saturday for us away at Salford. 12 different scorers this season too. Goals coming from literally everywhere from this side which is our greatest strength and usually the hallmark of a successful side too.

Second half was okay, but that game management of a lead bit is a real area we need to work on. For a team generally so good at keeping the ball we can lose the ability to do it in that situation. We were never going to be able to play with the same intensity as the first half though, so can’t complain.

Swindon couldn’t cope with the intensity of our press and speed of passing in the first half, but played some cracking stuff in the second when it settled to a more normal pace. Can see why they’re doing well and they’ll be up there.

When will Notts play someone good?

Deserved to win that tonight, even with 14 players out it slowly seems we are getting some team spirit

I'll be furious if he gets the Swindon game. City fans chanting "You're getting sacked in the morning," so hopefully he does go.
I don’t have the energy or desire to even comment on the games anymore, Tranmere were dire and it reminded me of losing to Rochdale but I’m past caring.

He should walk if he had any class.

He should, yes. I really wanted it to work but he's completely lost it.

Same. Even though we weren't perfect last season, I still loved going. I always looked forward to matchdays. Now I'm not arsed. I never thought Mark Hughes would kill my love of Bradford City.

You are never really past caring as a supporter

You'd soon change your tune if you supported us ;)

Excellent result. Not our best performance going forward but winning a close game against a good team like that is a very promising sign. Thought the centre backs and wing-backs were excellent.

Been there, done the t-shirt with Notts on more than one occasion but I hear ya fella. Tough times for all the many Bantams currently.

On a more positive footballing note, I know a game is 90 mins (plus now excessive added time) and it can be a tale of two halves but when you play that well for 45 mins you win the game by half time.

I've said it once, I've said it dozens of times and will continue to, we play really really good football. Passing football. Proper football. And the locals are loving it. Always going to concede so guaranteed goals from the entertainers.

We're gonna be safe this season, I just know it.

I should have believed you! Perhaps the final nail in Mark Hughes' coffin?

Hopefully hang a ring of garlic around his neck beforehand just in case. But yes, really needs to go before he drags us into a relegation fight...or are we already in one? Good luck for the rest of the season.

We're been garbage for far too long. 1 promotion in 23 years is pretty pathetic. Something needs to change at this club.

Routine win for Stockport, we put up token resistance but that could easily have ended 4 or 5.

Would of took a point before the game all day.

How we've kept a clean sheet in that game is beyond belief. Should of been 3-0 at half time. Bit better 2nd half.

After Saturday we will have played all of the current top 7 apart from Notts, so fairly happy with where we are at the moment really.

I think you'll be OK now. Played yourself into form against all the dross.

The Creepy brothers must have paid out big bucks to get such a favourable first ten fixtures.

After we went 1 down in the 5th minute we made no effort to get back into the game Going forward we were awful, with no movement off the ball, slow and indecisive. Too much passing sideways and back when we should have pushed up the field to make something happen.

Absolutely ridiculous we did not win that tonight, for the first time this season I’m annoyed with our performance, even though we looked twice the team that Wrexham are we somehow managed to let them go back to Wales with a clean sheet.

Got to be more clinical or we’ll draw our way to the play-offs.

Wrexham reminded me of our Paul Cox team, so not the most pleasing obviously I think the one thing they have on us is a player capable of taking a cracking corner.

As others have said, very scrappy performance, but a much needed October win and a first clean sheet of the season. Gillingham were a confusing team in that they didn't seem to know whether to play passing football or hoof it. And why you'd hoof it to Macauley Bonne of all people, I don't know.

Back 5 and keeper were good, midfield and attack still needs improvement. Biggest concern was Chris Long coming off at HT. Hopefully nothing too serious. 3 points, up to 20 and only another 30 needed for safety now. Although not that I think 50 points is needed, reckon the dotted line could be more like 40 the rate the teams at the bottom are struggling.
