Apart from a dodgy 20 mins spell in the second half,Pools were excellent.Yes,its long ball stuff, but to a pattern, not just hoping for the best.
The difference in Hamilton & Murray since Curle came in,is unreal.
We’ve also gone from a bunch of fannies, to a physical outfit, who don’t mind roughing up the opposition & long may it continue.
The atmosphere was great & a manager that interacts with the fans, happy days.
I'm still buzzing this morning.
Love it, the positivity is coming back. I think Curle just understands clubs like ours and he's really making it hard not to get him on a permanent deal. I've said for a while there's enough in the squad to avoid the drop and I think we have every chance to climb the table a bit now we have a competent manager.

A Dunfermline mate of mine rates Murray (they love him there) and was shocked he couldn't adapt to L2. He's taken a lot of stick and with the Scots gaffer gone he could just down tools but he hasn't. That's down to Curle/West who's got everybody grafting and putting a shift in.

Agree on the style of play, it suits the threats we have a lot better. Creating more chances and looking more solid as well. Real positive signs.

You looked good but you were playing a clueless bunch of fannies

Nothing you don’t already know but you were crap first half, much better second, Molyneux was threatening, Agard was a danger, thought Jonny Mitchell kept you in it, just didn’t seem to have much of a game plan, lumped it in the first half to a lone strike which didn’t work but looked good in spells when you played it to feet in the second.

Hit the nail on the head with a lack of a game plan, I don’t think in the near 12 months in charge he’s ever had or showed signs of developing one

Yes,Donny improved when Agard came on,but still only scored cos of our cock up.
Neat & tidy passing at times, but not really getting anyway, but Mitchell pulled off a worldie from Mayo's header.

The other thing of note is the togetherness of the players, especially in the celebrations when the second went in. Look like they are playing for each other for the first time.

Dressing room must’ve been horrific under Hartley, to see such a change so quickly.

I see that his side getting beat off Pools was the final straw for Lee Tomlin who’s decided to retire today

He’s been having injections in his toe but I don’t think it’s healing, shame but he’s been as much trouble as he’s done good

Suprised he gave it another go this season, he looked very unfit when he turned out for Walsall against us last season. Came on after 15mins I think for an injured player and went off right on half time as he wasn't fit enough.

Definitely fitter than last season but he was on painkillers daily which isn’t good for your health, fair play to him for being honest and thinking of his future

A win at last Northampton didnt offer much until the last 20 minutes hear they are missing a few players though scrappy game just pleased to get 3 points i think Hylton would annoy me if he was our player let alone the opposition seemed more interested in moaning than doing anything else.

It is getting that way, apart from a couple of class touches in our early games he's done nothing for us yet. He needs to concentrate on the football and not diving and/or having a go at the ref and live up to the reputation he came to us with.
