Don’t think that’s strictly true especially to our older generation of supporter who would certainly call Northampton a derby, if your defining a derby by who you hate the most then for us it’s certainly pish for us but I bet you want find many not calling Northampton a derby if asked.

Nah, I don’t think Northampton is a derby - I’ve never got that sense from our fan base. It’s very similar to Ipswich, Luton, Stevenage, Southend, Orient etc - we want to beat them and there’s added interest because they’re localish but not a true derby.

We obviously see the term derby differently, for me those teams mentioned are derbies but just not with a dislike we have for pish.

The shit we got after Tuesdays game certainly didn’t have the feel of just a normal game but we’ll agree to disagree.
