Crewe we’re awful from the 25th minute onwards. We’ve got a good run of games against the bottom half teams coming up to hopefully propel us back into the play offs.
Haven't you just had a run like that?!

Possession stats for the top possession teams since McKenna took over;
1) Man City
2) Liverpool
3) Swansea (have Russell Martin whose MK Dons team were behind only Man C and Barcelona in possession last season)
4) ITFC

This coupled with us locking the back door recently means we just need to bang in a few more goals now!

Possession works if you have a exceptional keeper and a game plan.
We had a possession based team pre Christmas lets say it was not easy on the eye.

You are about right where you are with that squad.........Dont see many better than us now
You would have beaten us 9/10 in November/December. The team we are fielding now is light years better than that team.........Honest question are you now better than what you was pre January??

You’ve made some astute signings and I imagine you’ll be in and around the top 6 next season but as it stands your 11 points from them in mid-Feb.

No we’re not better at all, we’re crap and yes, mid table is where we’ll finish.

This Saturday will be really interesting then to see how one of the teams reacts to having less of the ball.

How can you be the best team in the league yet not be ready for promotion?
Because we have players who are only going to get better Dapo,Morley,Charles and hopefully Fossey
A year of struggle in the championship will not give them that.
Unless Wigan Rotherham invest heavily they will be back down the following season

MK Dons get into the Championship then what???
Half your team will be loans, crowds wont go up and your wage bill will double.......its not the promised land for all teams.

The same was said last season when we was 17th in late January. In all honesty it was not a strong league
I think we will fall short this season but it wont be a bad thing......the team is gelling, getting better it will be a big Summer we need to get Trafford again next season Man City will be more than happy with how things have turned out. Fossey from Fulham is another we need to tie down. Sheehan,Isgrove and Katchunga to return to the squad Sadlier,Charles,Dempsey and Morley will have bedded in. Season tickets reduced everything bodes for a right go next season

I’m not even biting because I know you know nothing about our set up just as I know absolutely nothing about any of those players bar Charles.

Bournemouth in the League Cup the week before was of far more interest than Bolton, who incidentally were charging us over a tenner more.

I'll also give you one bit of history, Bolton Wanderers were the first ever team we beat at home in the second division. Cheers for that!

Part time fans....Bournemouth on a jolly boys outing in August does have appeal
We played Morecambe last Saturday and sold out in 3 hours....Oxford this Saturday the same
Teams like Sunderland,Shef Wed do likewise. Not having a dig at MK Dons just a realist.
You went up once previously and came back down.........convince me otherwise

Oh dear, Teacher, Masi is saying nasty things about us.
no far from it......MK Dons are being run correctly and are higher up the football pyramid than they should be.
Getting into the championship will set you back.....just football not having a go

Your first mistake is comparing some of the biggest teams in the country with smaller teams like Bolton and MK Dons.

Your second is in the state of the club at the time of the last promotion. We spunked most of our budget on dross and has beens because our head scout died a couple of weeks after promotion setting our recruitment back a month at a minimum. There were multiple managers, Karanka the main one, baffled at our league position because we played really well we just didn't have the quality to win games.

This time around if the unlikely happens then we have a set up that's stronger than one man and a team of youngsters that will grow, earn us a fortune when we sell them and we have the network to replace them with even better. We've done that consistently over the last 18 months.

yes wished we stayed at Burnden park you would have had a great away experience peeing against a wall, rain soaking you wet through all 90 mins, bricks raining down on you from the railway line behind you. Fencing blocking your view and a mile walk back to the train station with running battles all the way up Manchester Road

These new stadiums with train stations and motorways beside them and concourses with food/drink and good seats with a great view and modern facilities are indeed crap.......you need to get into the modern way of life

Aye I want to go to a ground next to a motorway, the entire experience of an away day at Bolton is fucking grim unless you fuck the match off and stay in Manchester

I don’t mind the reebok / macron whatever it’s called this week. It’s close to the motorway and good facilities. Issue is that it’s not in Bolton - so
You kill the trade for pubs and shops.
I went to burnden once, not behind the goal, there were away fans on the side under cover terracing. It was past it’s best let’s say. And that supermarket sticking out the away end was a bizarre decision. ( like hull )

And this again comes back to not knowing a clue about the set up of the club. We’re not widely applauded as having one of the best set ups around over the last couple of years for no reason.

You’ve got a few fans granted, but other than that you’re nothing special in this league.

Most of the new stadiums are nowhere near a train station.

The Unibol is a nice stadium tbf although a bit soulless but at least it stands out a bit compared to the majority of the new builds.

Yes we were lucky there was a derelict triangle of land came up by the side of the river/canal.
It really would have been nice if it were a 50% bigger area but it's not often a new build can actually take you nearer the town centre and railway station.

Crazy to think we refer to Unibol as a new build when it's 25 years old now.
Its modern not a new build...Modern facilities- and good transport links
Downside not much for the away fan Beehive pub eating house 15 mins walk away

Wasn’t that bad the other night, ended up in the beehive before the game then the hotel bar after until they chucked us out at about midnight and then got a taxi into Bolton to some bar called Kahiki or something.
