Tranmere away. Whoop de doo. Pretty much a game we really need a good performance from as we're going through a poor spell.

I'm expecting a 92nd minute equaliser from Harrogate...95th minute winner from us.

Harrogate played us of the park earlier in the season and when we had a player sent off (rightly) I was expecting the worse but they went right into their shell and we got a point.

Which Harrogate v what Crawley!

You have got 29 points off us out of the last 33 available. Form means nothing when you play a bogey team.

I think this is a must win for us, said the same for the home games against Scunthorpe and Oldham and they were both miserable 0-0 draws.

January recruitment was decent, think Bogle will come good in time with increased fitness and the midfield has been beefed up considerably, we just need to play with a more attacking mindset, I'd love to see us play the pizza cup formation, Bogle up top with Molyneux and one other (Olomola?White?) on the other side and go at teams, currently we just pass pass pass pass pass it to death without getting anywhere.

Clash of the titans at Gander Green Lane with the visit of Salford.

I remember being delighted with a point in the reverse fixture (our first ever EFL point), however if we hope to maintain our fight for an automatic promotion or playoff spot 3 points will be needed here I think.

3 points will also take us past our target for the season of 50 points and hopefully we can start thinking about what’s next.

Really tough trip against a good side whose fans are always so bullish.

We just need to win and don’t care how it happens. If it’s a Calvin Andrew off his arse type goal like at Torquay in our promotion season will take it here and now. Following this we have Northampton at home and Tranmere away. Will know a lot more about our promotion prospects by the end of this run of games I reckon.

Proper club who have done it the hard way versus Hobby club. Batter them.

Big game for us, tricky long away trip against a tough side.

Need to match the benchmark of performance against FGR and keep the improvement going.

Injuries still a problem so expect the same line up. Win this and we can go into two games against promotion rivals buoyant and confident.

Never an easy place to go though this.

How are we over evens? Lump on. Our lads will want complete revenge from the reverse fixture. I'm going 4-0.

Looking at the form table, reckon we were even lucky with fog stopping the Stags game. Lose that and might have had a dip, as it is great return from three tough fixtures just. Know nothing about Rochdale, so obviously won't let that stop me commenting.

Who knows it could be the game that turns around our poor form. Really need Davidson to be fit as I thought he played well yesterday and desperate for Jack Payne to make his comeback. Really hoping that Tomlinson switches to right back so that Ellis can move back into the LWB spot making us a lot more of an attacking threat

No idea about the game but hopefully Adams won't be in the dugout.

Wishful thinking but from a self-interest point of view you'd hope that Hartlepool would struggle to get themselves up for a back down to Earth, bottom of the table clash against the mighty Barra after the spending a lavish weekend at a PL side. But we are talking about professionals here.

Never won there in the recent Conny times, at this stage would take another point as they've put better teams to the sword recently than us in recent weeks and it's another one towards safety, although their league form suggests we've got a good chance. Canavan will start which on paper should massively improve our defence. We've been better away from home recently too.

Things are never straightforward are they. We should beat Orient but they surely will want to start performing again.
Dieng had a knock yesterday but hope he is OK as he has been pivotal this season. Not sure if Nombe will start but if not he will definitely come on later.
Hopefully an early goal to ease the nerves and a 2 nil win.

I think completely the opposite is true to be honest. You read a lot of superstitious guff about 'bogey teams', but the reason we have not beaten Swindon for a while is they were better than us when we were on our slide down the divisions. Back in the nineties the games were pretty evenly contested.

I think we go into the game as slight favourites, but it will obviously be a very tough match. Our record against the current top seven is quite poor, so it would be good to get a result to dampen some of those concerns. I think four points from Swindon at home and Walsall away would be a good return this week.

Barra should not be underestimated , And doubt they will be.

Saturday was a turning point for me, we fell behind and the players gave up.

I can't see how Jackett will turn this around. We lost Theo Archibald and Ethan Coleman to what looks like covid on Saturday morning and now have a very inexperienced team which Jackett keeps making reference too, with very little backup and he flat out refuses to make subs anymore unless he has to.

The bigger problem is our board who are trying to implement this moneyball type strategy and making Jackett work within it - So him being the stubborn bloke that he is, just doesn't change the way he plays to accomodate the players he's been forced to sign, which leads to players being fed up with the style and not giving a shit, then you start losing games and going on a bad run and then the crowd turns and eventually the manager takes the blame - Which will happen here.

We're usually in games and narrowly lose/draw, but my god we never ever look like scoring anymore.

We've not been thrashed yet this season, we've lost 3 of our last 5 visits to Exeter 4-0 and another one really isn't out of the question because we're due a thrashing from one of the better teams this season.

First time in 26 years I've seen an Orient team go from looking like a decent well drilled promotion chasing team, to a relegation threatened looking team in the space of 3 months  :ffs:

Colchester picked up a bit of form it seems, one of few home games coming up too, thankfully Longstaff and Murphy are available.

Looked pretty obvious against Harrogate we are ready for a bit of a rotation.

Barry and McKirdy 100% will not work as a striking partnership as they are too similar. Davidson adds some height and physicality which we'll need against a tough, disciplined defence. Tomlinson looks great and can play left or right so Garner has a choice. Rob Hunt who was Captain is unlikely to be dropped so I think Ellis will be on the bench again. We badly miss Jack Payne and Louis Reed. Lyden went off injured so I guess East may come in to play DMC

Or preferably 0-1.
No don’t want Salford winning. 0-0 is a good compromise.

Edit: if we finished 4th I’d love Salford to sneak into the playoffs and make 7th, huge fan of Gary Bowyer.

Newport at home. Yuge game really. A win for either side would be a great result but I can see it being a tense 0-0 or 1-1

I am no fan of Salford. However, I don't think they can catch us so I am happy for them to win.

Not sure how Orient have dropped off so rapidly of late. I had them down as definite top 7 this season.

We need to backup yesterday’s great win with another result on Tuesday. Suspect we will make a couple of changes just to freshen things up a bit. Dieng may be rested so either Atangana, Kyle Taylor or Kite will come in. Would also be keen to see Jack Sparkes get a start. Nombe to come off the bench again.

Should be a good crowd and I think we’ll have enough to see this through. 2-0 City.

There is a danger of that, regardless I fancy you to win if we stick with the tepid 532 bollocks.

Hope Lee has some balls and switches it up to the 433 which we look much better in.

I'd go with:

Killip, Sterry, Odusina, Byrne, Ferguson, Featherstone, White, Morris, Molyneux, Bogle, Olomola or some variant of that.

Definitely need a win. Our league form since October is relegation material
