Need to win this otherwise we are ripe for catching by Walsall, and possibly Donny. Need a massive improvement from yesterday that's for sure.

Doncaster are in title winning form. 6 wins on the spin with only 1 goal conceded is crazy.

There wasn't much in the first game between us and Mansfield a couple of months back, 4-0 flattered them and now they're in poor form and in danger of bottling prpmotion again, we need to capitalise on that.

If we play like we did at Crewe no reason we can't get the win here.

Given where we were, McCann basically told the players, there are 18 games left, treat that as the season and win the 18 game table, appears to be working

Very true, but if we play like we did against Stockport and are as cavalier with our passing as we were yesterday...and Mansfield rediscover their form...they could do to us what they did to Harrogate, that is what frightens me!

8-1 or 1-0 doesn't really matter now. You need the win and hope Stockport do for Colchester.
Mansfield will be feeling the pressure no matter what is said in public.

The games don't get easier do they!

We had 3 tough away games on the bounce and I honestly hoped to maybe sneak a win in one of them but I wouldn't have been surprised to the lose the lot (Newport, Mansfield and now Wrexham). The fact we've won two of them is astounding. I can go into this game nice and relaxed now, still got to give it a go mind.

I think Wrexham will have a bit too much for us but I am holding out for a low scoring draw.

If we win and if results go our way and we'll have the top 7 all but secured. 2 big ifs though.

Win for us and we've surely put this to bed. Harrogate seem to fluctuate between the sublime and the ridiculous, so hopefully we come up against the latter. Would be great to be able to go to Colchester knowing that we're safe with the opportunity to really Cowley the Cowleys.

Huge game for us and another team bang in form. Last time they came to the Racecourse fatty Evans was in charge of them.

A win here and it would feel like we are close but things are never that easy with us, there's usually a twist.

Typical we get ourselves on an impressive unbeaten run and then we don't have a game midweek to keep the momentum going.

Wish our pitch was worse, although the club informs Notts and interested Wrexham fans that the pitch is in desperate need of reconstruction. Both the underlying drainage system and the sub-soil base are starting to fail and require total replacement.

As well as state-of-the-art drainage, which will all but eradicate the threat of waterlogging, a new hybrid SIS pitch will be installed. Darn!!

Plus the club are taking the opportunity to install under soil heating to all but eradicate the threat of a frozen pitch. Drat!!

All this infrastructure investment but how much is it costing the owners I do wonder?

Ok so the current more than above average playing surface for L2 will next season be upgraded to Premier League quality but can we also have a decent solid centre back and goalkeeper pretty please?

I was at that game on a Tuesday night - drew 0 - 0 and Alex Ferguson was watching as we were playing Man United on the Saturday in the FA Cup. - It was a minibus that night and then 26 coaches to Old Trafford - a great day.

So now it's another Tuesday evening - although we don't travel in numbers - we do have a full coach and a minibus travelling tomorrow evening for this game - so hopefully nearer the 200 mark which will be above our average for an away game especially with this distance involved.

Crawley have won their last 5 away from home I think?

It therefore goes without saying that this will be a tough game for us but I think we have enough to win it.

If so, we go into Saturday knowing we could be promoted! COYR

The last two matches away from home we have won 4 - 0 (Newport) and 4 - 1 (Mansfield), we can play much better than we did in both of these matches giving the opposition chances - thankfully only one was taken in both games - we have won 6 out of the last 7 and our defeat at Morecambe was a game we should have not lost - so many great chances created - but that's football - in this league any team on their day can beat anyone.

If you had said that with three away games on the trot we would win 2 everyone here would have taken that - after tomorrow we have 3 at home Colchester, Barrow and Grimsby, and one away which is at Sutton. Three of the bottom 4 and one in the play-offs. Definitely in our own hands.

Not bad for a team full of non league players and other league rejects that was being relegated by Christmas and with the lowest number of points ever!!!!!

We were the same last season......nailed on favs for relegation.....threw it away towards end of season but still got 9th.....we were bookies 6th fav to go down this season too....there’s a little smugness feel good factor that your totally entitled to when it doesn’t go the bookies way :)

Got to find a way to win tomorrow. simple as that.

Do so and they’ll be some confidence back in the side and supporters before that game at MK.

Not sure what’s happened with the defence saturday as flint was all over the place. though clearly struggling.

I was not part of the thirty away fans that night. I was part of the 11,000 at Old Trafford on the Saturday though.

Not going tomorrow either. It's because I'm a plastic glory hunter type of fan.

How many are expected to make the trip? From memory, I don't think we've got fans in the upper tier of the away end so you must be expecting over 300.

Barrow away, we’re very much in ‘who even cares anymore’ for the rest of this season, more eyes on off field going ons than on field so little excuse for Barrow not to get the win. 7 points from last 9 isn’t a bad return for us all be it with no pressure on but can’t see past a home win tomorrow.

If we play like we did at Crewe you won't beat us. It's all about whether we can repeat that level of performance I reckon.

If this mansfield side play at our very best (like very best) there is no side that can stop them, regardless of how well they play.

Unfortunately how frequently and when these displays get put out vary and don’t tend to happen towards the end of the season.

It won’t be one of those displays tomorrow that i can guarantee, you get the early goal and both the players and fans will get nervous, some fans were rather hostile at the end saturday.

If we can get the early goal and a bit of luck i think we’ll be fine, but anyone thinking it’ll be easy is clearly wrong for numerous reasons.

As said when we played you at your place (and one of your fans said it earlier) the 4-9 flattered us and you played some decent stuff.

So if County win at Colchester, and Mansfield lose, we're not promoted according to the table... but the fact MK and Mansfield have to play each other actually means that we are.

Because either Mansfield win that fixture, in which case the max MK could get is 80 points, a draw means the most MK could get is 81, or MK win and the max Mansfield could get is 82.

I'd been hoping not to go because, sorry Col U fans, but I really hate that stadium... now it looks like I need to be there... #1stPlaceProblems

I believe we have sold over 300.
Will be delighted with a point, but you never know!

Fair play. I was thinking that I haven't seen anything on our side about opening the top tier (usually reserved for home fans if the away club will sell less than 250) so to sell that many on a Tuesday night is really good.
