Same as our game really. We had two chances in the first 15 minutes but apart from that nothing has happened.

Stevenage have been very solid defensively and shut us out well. They offer less than nothing going forward but very good at the back.

Turgid game at Prenton Park. Stevenage have come with a game plan to break up play and frustrate us, and so far they're doing it excellently. They're giving us no time or space to play, and restricting us to hopeful balls forward and few chances.

Reminds me of many of our games in the national league. We may be reliant on Vaughan to perform a bit of James Norwood style magic to rescue the points. I'm waiting for the time wasting to begin in earnest...

has anyone else got a team that they have not played yet - our game being off against Exeter for the 2nd time tonight - and Exeter not having a free midweek slot for ages means we won't have faced them before April - as the away game is the last game of the season

We haven't played Tranmere or Salford yet.

I'm waiting for the scrappy goal or dubious penalty that gifts Stevenage all the points, it feels that NL. After a bright opening from Rovers, the visitors have broken up play well, despite needing to put two subs on already.

A win is a win.

By all accounts the commentator was dreadful - there was more talk of that on Twitter than the actual game.

You missed out, he was more entertaining than the game - essentially a Northern Alan Partridge.

Just about deserved the win, second half was rubbish but we held on fairly comfortably.

Amazing since we take off the Right back playing central striker off for an actual striker we look more of a threat

Fortunate to be level. Stevenage scored but officials didn’t see it cross the line.

Marcus Maddison off to a flyer

Probably got himself sent off on purpose, more time for the PS5.

Stevenage as well to be fair. Both against opposition in the promotion picture yet looking like coming away with something. Whereas we couldn't even make it even slightly difficult for Cambridge at home on Saturday.

Maybe Tranmere won't run away with it.
Maybe Mansfield aren't on the charge.
Maybe Cambridge aren't that good.
Maybe just maybe Carlisle will get a game or two on and be champions by end of March.

Not at the races at all tonight and a thoroughly deserved victory for Stevenage. Worst second half I’ve seen for a very long time from us.

Putting that down as all the games catching up on us tonight. It’s been a gruelling schedule playing every Saturday and Tuesday the last month. Hopefully that’s a one off and we’re back to winning ways at Grimsby on Saturday.

Who would take our position now had it been offered you in the summer?

Eighth in the table, but only six points from the top.

Three, four, three, four, three, three and five games in hand on the seven teams above you.

If the season were ended on ppg now, you'd be champions.

Have only played two games in the last six weeks.

Now have to play almost every Tuesday between now and the end of the season.

An awful, ugly game, but Stevenage fully deserved that. We were truly shite, and had no answer to Stevenage's pressing and physicality. The only consolation is that we weren't the only team at the top end to have a bit of a mare tonight!
