Wow me made hard work of that in the end. 15mins-70mins we were the only team in it. Thought Cambridge were going to nick a draw at the end.

We only turned up for half hour tonight and deserved nothing. Bolton are a good side but no better than the other teams at the top.

Results were a mixed bag for teams at the top so not too down about this defeat. Got to go to Oldham Saturday and get a result now and then we can put our feet up midweek.

Should have had four points from the last two matches but we've been reffed out of three of them.
Let’s not forget Hurst brought on a left back in left midfield on Saturday and then brought on a centre back after we dominated midfield.

He’s directly to blame and he can happily walk for those two decisions alone

Cheltenham losing, Cambridge losing, Forest green and Morecambe drawing has opened up the automatic places for quite a few teams again. Anyone down to Salford could do it now

Well that was a bit of a shitter, conceding right at the end like that, but fair result tbh. Morecambe look a very decent side.

I am at an absolute loss how we haven’t won this tonight. That was a brilliant performance just could not put it in.

Christ. That has to be the most one sided 0-0 I’ve ever seen, it was complete domination for 90 minutes and how we haven’t won that 4 or 5 who knows, nothing dropped, we were outstanding and completed battered Oldham. Frustrating but with Amoo and Woz back we look much much better than we have.

pope would have had 5 if he was fit.

that was pretty awesome really and has given me a lot of hope. if we put a few more performances in like that then we'll be fine. hopefully not just a one off and Darrell's ethos finally starting come to fruition.

A great performance down at Southend and a fully deserved 3 points. We should have been 4/5 up at half time. Credit to Southend for coming at us for the opening 15 mins of the second half but that was all they offered all game. We took our foot off the gas in the second half and didn’t have to work for the win really.

A huge 3 points especially with Cheltenham and Cambridge losing as well as that late goal for Morecambe at Forest Green. We can relax now this weekend as we play Sunderland at Wembley in a game we’re not expected to win so can go out there, enjoy it, give it our all and see what happens!

Agree and tbh I was pleased that we played well ourselves while still a bit makeshift and having had that wobble, hope this means we're past that then got players to return.

Full credit to Mansfield tonight - I only heard the second half on the radio, but it sounded like our goal was against the run of play and then they fully got what they deserved.

The only positive is that we come out still on top.

A drab 0-0 between ourselves and Stevenage, last 15mins both sides made errors at the back which weren't capitalised on.

Stevenage probably just edged it on chances, but 0-0 a fair result.

Our goals have also completely dried up and Danny Johnsons confidence has gone, missed his 1v1 chance he had which 3 months ago he was putting away.

We desperately need a new manager to give us a boot up the arse, too many players now bumbling along for us. Not convinced so far Jobi McAnuff is making too much of a difference in these 3 games either.

Stevenage vastly improved since we last played them and like us will likely see the season out into midtable.

I'd say the mistake tonight was taking Lamy off and not Morias, most of our best attacking play was down the left with Lamy.

Just checked and Waterfall came on in the 90th minute, I thought from the reactions it was much earlier because we were under pressure for at least 5 to 10 mins before he came on.

As I said we are so desperate for three points bringing a defender on or not wouldn't have stopped the pressure. We are just that unlucky and that devoid of confidence we can't even see out a long throw in injury time.

Yep tonight could see some definite progress.

One thing that should not be underrated as well is that we did it for 90 minutes so the new fitness coach already clearly got something to show for his work.

David Worrall was head and shoulders best player on the pitch. Big pay on the back also to Crookes, Swan (how nice to see a forward actually want the ball) and Conlon was far better tonight. Something to work with.

Should've won that tonight but absolutely threw it away with a brain dead handball by Levi Sutton at the end. I'd expect a reaction against Carlisle on Saturday.

I expected Oldham to get a good 10-15 minutes but we pressed them to death for 98 minutes, Wozza out injured tears them apart like that, not human is he?! But the improved fitness tonight was a massive step forward.

For all the fuss of Bahamboula I don’t think Legge let him have a touch. If we put that level in week in week out we will be more than fine. If Pope gets back in the next week or so... if them crosses come in to him rather than Guthrie games done after 30 minutes.

It felt tonight like that 0-0 at Notts County which stopped the rot a couple of years back when we should of won that... followed it up with a win against play off chasing Mansfield and then pushed on to comfortable safety. Let’s hope we can repeat that because although we didn’t get the win we deserved we were outstanding and looked a completely different outfit with Woz running the show.

Jesus what a boring game but we were cruising to a 1-0 win then give away a cheap free kick on the edge of the area, then the only other opportunity of the game they have is thanks to our player punching the ball at the end for no reason and giving a penalty away. We’ve been doing stupid shit recently and I think a lot of it’s down to our poor fitness, we need this free week after Carlisle badly.

I don't blame him for the Waterfall substitution, bringing on a CB to close the game out obviously makes sense. But Clifton on for Lamy is a shite call. Lamy and Morais were alleviating a lot of pressure getting onto the long balls and we lost us shape with that move.

You've pretty much got a free week and a half to recover now.

We looked better tonight against a poor Carlisle, but at the end of the day we still created very little.

Probably part of the reason we conceded so late because despite being better we still only had a 1-0 lead to hold onto.

On the positive side our defensive pairing of Manyese and Hewitt looks decent, and Hanson and LJL bring our midfield into attacking positions. We are playing another side devoid of confidence at the weekend. Hopefully we have a bit more luck and less of a bad ref this time.

I don't blame Hurst for bringing a defender on in the 90th min, most managers in our situation would do the same thing. Problem is Hurst is always negative which invites people to be critical of him when things like this happen. If he hadn't have done it and we still conceded they would be asking why he didn't go defensive and defend the lead!

Just so frustrating when decisions go against you and you concede so late when so desperate for wins. On another positive Vale and Colchester are getting closer to being catchable if we can win a few Games, but that looks a long way of right now.

No less than we deserved, a draw was probably a fair result in the end. A great game, both teams looked good. Collins played really well which is no surprise, still haven't got over how much we cocked that move up.

Just got to my break and checked the score and felt a bit sick when I saw the timing of the Carlisle goal, I really hope it was deserved and we haven’t just thrown it away, guess I’d best read back through the last 5 pages of this to find out.
