Pleasing 1st half from Rovers in a one sided affair. Surely Southend won’t be this bad 2nd half. Next goal crucial I think.

That Labadie for Newport is a diving, whingy little twat. Boring game between two naff sides so far.

He was up to all sorts against us, falling over and screaming and basically being a little shithouse.

As for us against Southend, I'm not sure if we're playing well or Southend are playing poorly but there's a bit of a gulf between the sides in the first half at least. Southend don't look bothered, and didn't even before our opener. We're barely having to work.

They have occasionally put together decent passages of play, so there is something there that we need to watch out for - the game isn't won yet. Hopefully more of the same in the second half though.

That was as about as dominant a half from Vale as have seen in a while. Obviously a concern it’s still goalless but we are doing the right things. Got to think something will go in soon.

Worrall been exceptional and Crookes impressed as well.

Yeah not what I expected. Saw a few comments that they wouldn't mind playing a team that don't sit in. Then they have come and sat back after the initial press.
