Sorry for messing with the mood. Been enjoying a nostalgic vinyl evening, with a few Argentinian side lines. This is what shines out:

Blame the Henney's.....

^ Very odd song that, though reminds me of being young.
I remember recording it, with a microphone in front of the telly, from the OGWT, on my new Ferguson Cassette Recorder. My other sources of quality music in those days were a Dansette record player, sometimes played through our old Murphy valve radio (which had brilliant sound, especially bass) and BBC's In Concert played through the same wireless.

Hmm, you just gave me an idea there The Cards . I was thinking we could do a personal top 5 albums of the year come December. Trouble is I'm not sure I can find 3 albums let alone 5  as I'm seriously struggling to find decent new music to my taste lately.

Anyway, here's my choice for today.

I'm not sure I've listened to 5 tracks from this year all the way through, apart from on this thread, never mind albums.

The only (edit: new) album I actually bought this year is from a band that has been on the road since the 90's - and it doesn't fit coz it was released in 2016.

I'm struggling a bit with 2017 but within the last 12 months ( just) the Handsome Family have released another beautiful record.

Let's do it man, there's been some great releases in the metal community this year, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Power Trip, Warbringer, Kreator, Persefone, Thy art is murder... I could go on!

Saw Suffocation last night.. luckily had a day off today i'm only just getting out of bed :2thumb:
