I think it was Roxy Music that dragged me off the blues/progressive/rock ghetto into chart bands but Gary was a step too far...........and the sound on this lap top is crap - I still need some headphones.

Just found out Rosie & Jim was 27 yesterday. This just reminds me of two songs mixed together that shouldn't work, but it does so well.

AOF were one of those US HC bands that were and still are highly underrated by loads of punks for some reason or other. Great band, and they were proper musicians unlike other punk bands from the same era. This track's from their second album which was produced by Bob Mould, and you can clearly hear the influence of Husker Du, Mould's band at the time.

One of my finds in deepest Southern Cheshire (Wybunbury, pronounced by the locals without the "bun") was the Bonzo's Gorilla. I can't remember where my original copy went but it's full of treats.
