This is the problem with football these days, everything is judged on possession. A team could have 80% of the ball in 90 minutes and despite 70% of that being sideways and backwards passing, they are classed to have been the dominant team.

What happened to football being about who scores the most goals?

Spot on mate. I love seeing teams keep the ball and work it around the pitch as I think it is the best way to open up the opposition by shifting their setup from side to side but that only works if the ball is moved quickly and in a positive manner. However, some fans and more importantly managers/coaches seem to think that having their back 4 and goalkeeper make 20 passes between them is great football.

We now play this brand of football under Bruno and whilst it is pretty look how it backfired against Coventry when we had an off day and kept giving the ball away 30 yards from goal! Sometimes you need to mix it up a bit and luckily after a shaky start we started too boot it clear after taking the lead.
