Out of interest, are Sky doing that thing where they move games to Thursday nights again this season?

Oh yes.

Plenty of them this season as the Premier League will be having Friday night games.

Don't mind playing Villa on the Sunday but the later kick off down in Norwich is a ball ache.

The mighty Rams!!!
Glad that after last year we have none so far. I imagine that will change.

Only issue is lost revenue from Sky

First 2 games on sky and the 4th one is against Leeds which is rarely not televised, Sky doing nothing to help our attendance figures this season then

I'd be amazed if we weren't selected for at least one game tomorrow when they announce the new set of fixtures to be televised.

I think the Newcastle fixture is safe as Wednesday v Leeds is 12:30 kick off.

Is it the Villa game has something like Newcastle vs Brighton (can't remember whose home/away) that day?

Can see us away at PNE being our first game of the season on television. It's on the same matchday weekend as Villa v Newcastle but Sky only have one Sunday Premier League game that weekend which kicks off at 4pm. If I'm right then I hope us v PNE gets the Saturday teatime kickoff while Villa v Newcastle gets shunted to the vacant Sunday lunchtime slot.

Strange cos I got the dates from a decent source.

"Remainder of TV games up to end of September to be announced on Friday

then

October – November 12 – announced August 5

19th November to January 2 – announced 30 September

Rest of January – 30 October

February – 30 November

From February onwards – announced on a five-week rolling basis"

His text.

Yeah several official club twitter accounts announced those dates. Very strange.
