Fallout 4 to be announced either tomorrow or at E3 and strong rumours that Dark Souls 3 will also be revealed then.

Sort of definitely need to get a PS4 in the next year.

So that would mean Elder Scrolls VI will be announced Spring next year most likely as reports have been saying it'll fall next year if Fallout is this year.

I'll have to have a look at fallout, never played it before...

So I got persuaded to get a pre order deposit for the new batman game (last time I bought games it apparently got me more points on my card, think it was free if I remember rightly though), think I should cash it in?

Never... played... Fallout?! New Vegas is my favourite game ever, I've maxed out 4 times now having bought it for a fiver a few years ago. Definitely worth a go on that before you think about getting Fallout 4.

I've not played any Assassin Creed games since the 3rd one. The 3rd was disappointing after the Ezio trilogy and the hype it had before release but it wasn't so bad that it'd put me off the franchise on its own, it was purely because I stopped gaming as much.

Now I'm considering getting a new console and already there are three games for me to catch up on after the new one is released. It's relentless and none of them look that great. The series is like CoD where they have different studios releasing them on a yearly basis and it looks to have become really disjointed. As long as the studious releasing them are good, it's not necessarily the worst thing, but the model isn't really suited to single-player based game.

It's a shame because the Ezio trilogy were some of my favourite gaming experiences and even the 3rd one was a solid 6/10.

Yep the Ezio trilogy was the pinnacle of Assassins Creed, ever since Brotherhood they have just gone into a tail spin. Black Flag was a good pirate game, just not a good Assassins Creed game.

They need to drop all the time travel shit and just tell an interesting Assassin story like Ezio's again otherwise the franchise will never recover. The story, music, characters and environment in the Ezio trilogy was just perfection.

Yeah, might sound stupid, but the series also went downhill after they parted ways with Jesper Kyd, the composer for the original four games. The music in AC3 was really lacking in comparison, I'm not sure if the others since have been the same? AC2 in particular had some beautiful game music.

Oh, and like I said, I didn't play Unity but saw that the French people had cockney accents? What was that all about!? Probably the worst thing to do if you want to ruin the immersion of a game.

This still gives me shivers down my spine, Jesper was immense. It was half the reason why the game felt so good to play.

I'm gagging for Fire Emblem: Fates like a filthy whore. I'm satiating myself with a Lunatic run on Fire Emblem: Awakening in the mean time. It's, erm, a bit hard.

I don't understand what Capcom are thinking with Street Fighter V. How they couldn't look at the success of Mortal Kombat's ingenious storyline mode, where you play as everyone in different periods throughout the game, I do not know. Street Fighter V is just a generic fighter game with no rhyme or reason and it looks like shit. It has similar graphics to Soul Calibur on the PS1. They've blown another opportunity to build around the Street Fighter mythology which has an excellent basis and traditional characters that people recognise, so fucking use them! Knobs.

Just seen that Constructor is being re-released on PS4 and Xbox One in April. That used to be my favourite game on the PS1. No doubt I'll drop £30 and it won't stand up.

I read/heard they were focusing on the competitive aspect for this edition. Shame as I love a story mode in fighting games. Even the Tekken 6 one was enjoyable.
Also apparently no Sagat in this one!

I have read that they are hoping to make an Evil Genius 2 over 2016, will depend on finances.

there is an online one available at minute, but its a focus to create another....hope so as that game is a hidden gem of the past.

YOU FUCKIN' WOT.

I loved Constructor. So much so that it's actually the only PS1 game I ever bought digitally on my PS3. I need to look into this. This makes me happy.

Why no Sagat? I'm excited for SF V regardless of what they do with the single player, I play it mainly as a multiplayer thing... but missing out Sagat seems odd.

I remember you mentioning Evil Genius on here, that led to me checking it out. A brilliant idea for a game but it felt a bit dated... a new one could be pretty damned great! Looking forward to seeing if that happens, hope it does.

Quite looking forward to Far Cry Primal. Four was okay although too similar to three. Hopefully this feels fresher.

I just cannot be fucked for that. I enjoy Far Cry and I actually liked what I played of 4... but it's just... too big. It's not good enough to warrant the play hours I had to pour into it doing the same old shit (especially when same old shit is the same old shit I'd just done in Far Cry 3). We need some new shit for Primal, or they can get fucked. To shit.

My steam for Farcry has definitely run out.
Only things I'm looking forward to atm are FE:Fates and Dark Souls 3
And Witcher DLC whenever that comes out

Maybe an important one for Mr Oaf and some other wrestling fans here.

GryeDogSoftware are bringing out their next edition of TEW (like FM but Wrestling) in this quarter.....expected in April but may be June if Delays.

the last edition was TEW 2013 so its had 3 years worth of work for the next one, should be interesting to see the lay-out.

Oh nice. I quite fancy getting back into a TEW game!

Of course I'll wait for the real world updates to start to appear first...

There are no guns in it at all, I imagine therefore it will feel different.

I'll be honest, I've only just realised it's a full blown game. I thought it was a £20 Blood Dragon type deal.

Yeah, it's certainly a unique enough setting I guess to at least keep my with one eye on it. I guess I'm just going to wait on reviews. If it's full of 7/8's or whatever to suggest it's good but not great, I'll give it a miss. If it's getting 9+ scores... well, damn it, I may just have to check it out after all.

Few more details about No Man's Sky coming out now. Starting to look like a game and not just a universe simulator.

Read quite a few impressions and it seems there's indeed more depth to it. I've gone from a maybe to getting it day one, I think.
