Even as someone who doesn't usually like Halo,Halo 5 Guardians.
Last day of the BETA today... then a huge wait until the real thing comes out. It's been superb.
Can't wait,Fire Emblem kinda semi announced to be out in the West in 2015.
Is that the Chinese version of Dying Light?
Uncharted 4, Type 0 and Bloodborne are the three games I'm most looking forward to this year.
Halo 5, Battlefront 3 and The Division.
I'll get Atilla if it actually works, Creative Assmebley have been shocking for a while now with their games though, there's a reason my top 2 Total War's for hours played are Rome and Medieval 2, games which are a around decade old. They work and they're good.
I liked Shogun 2, it just felt quite bland, it missed the character of the older games - something just felt off. Rome 2 is playable, but is so feature stripped and also has combat with much left to be desired. I think the main downside to modern TW games is the Warscape engine, it was built for gunpowder battles, and now they have been trying to force and mould it into a sword and shield combat engine like the original and it just falls flat on it's face with problems.Shogun 2 was easily one of the best Total Wars, to be honest the only one I ever had major launch problems with was Empire. Then again, maybe I am long in the tooth having played it since STW, I am just so used to the baffling diplomacy of the AI etc at this point. Atilla seems to be getting praise from the bigger TW you tubers who got the beta mind.

Thing with Shoggy is the setting is pretty key, it's all about similar armies with minor differences to swing battles one way or another, if you like the period it is a bonus too, but in a way the lack of specialisation helped the AI because it had you on similar ground strength wise at least if not tactically.
RTWII is pretty good I think, the battles are decent enough, seems to be the same old TW formula mind so perhaps I am just dulled to the minor differences at this point, as I say I am completely used to stupid diplomacy (which is daft at this point when you look at how easy the Paradox games model it that TW hasn't used that system by now), odd tactical choices and "mega stacks of doom".
