They're going to have to do a big shift around in the NL North & South again, Boreham Wood are the most northerly of the bottom 9 teams in the National League. Looking at the current NL South it's going to end up with someone like Oxford City in the north.

We're as good as down really. Just hope we can bring Bradford, Rochdale and Accrington with us. All purely for closer games. Orient and Harrogate up would be nice. Orient as it's a good away day and Harrogate as I've never been.

Lincoln are already up which is disappointing, would have liked to play them again. Hoping its MK, Tranmere and FGR up with them. Would like to play Bury and Mansfield.

Will be nice to play Grimsby again. It must have been 15 years since we played in the league.

We’ve been effectively down for weeks now and seem just to be seeing out games until it’s all over. Generally, us and Scunthorpe have finished really close to each other over the last few years which makes me think they’ll join us down here too, equally though I think they’d be favourites to go back up.
Gary Bowyer is all but confirmed to have a two year deal in place for next season all be it his team selections so far have been disappointing to put it mildly, we’ll hope he can achieve what he did when here with the mess that was Blackpool and bounce straight back. Let it be said though that after the seven years or so spent here not that long ago, there’ll be no ego on our part at going straight back up, especially given the overhaul we need, the lack of first team quality and the over sized number of not good enough squad players that are still under contract.

Harrogate will not bd getting promoted to League 2, I can guarantee that. They play nice football but they're far too open at the back. Salford or Solihull are much more likely.

You really remind me of a L1 us. We’ve both even got 36 points after 40 games!

Yeah, it was 04/05. Our first season down in League 2 in my time supporting. What's happened to your lot? I don't get the Radio Humberside phone in on iFollow anymore so have no idea really.

We sold all of our best players at the end of last season and just didn't replace them at all. We signed players still living off ten years ago like James Perch. Compile that with a couple of poor managerial appointments has left us in the mire. Our team has thrown the towel in this season.

To think we were a bit gutted when Swann joined your board a few years back.
Does seem a trigger happy chairman /owner.

He's still a fantastic owner that has led us to some pretty great years. This is our first bad year under him.

I'm assuming Harrogate told the EFL that they'd also rip their 3G/4G pitch up if they get promoted?

You had a decent run in January. Was that down to new signings? Working in Scunthorpe, I know a few Scunny fans and I think they said the new signings were basically just squad fillers and it gave the existing lot a kick up the arse more than anything?

Wrexham have decided to make life more difficult for themselves, Solihull have had a mini wobble, whereas Orient and Salford push on, even if the former only drew at the weekend.

A good weekend for Ebbsfleet and Eastleigh

A draw for Rochdale, a big win for AFCW against Scunthorpe and losses for the 6 above nips things up even further.

Oxford appear to have timed their run well and probably about safe, whereas Bradford, effectively 7 points adrift with GD as it stands, are probably down.

Wrexham going to fall out of the playoffs even with that cushion? I think it’ll be Orient and Fylde this year coming up.

Andy Cook picking Walsall over us is going well for him isn’t it? Wouldn’t fit into our current system anyway.

Fylde are a good footballing side but they lack ruthlessness in front of goal, as shown by the high number of drawn matches.
I totally forgot about Harrogate’s pitch!

Looking like we will be Lincolnshire's highest-ranked club for the first time in many, many years. :woo:

Actually, I think you have to win the Lincolnshire Senior Cup to be able to claim that accolade.

It's tight at the top between Lincoln and Grimsby at 38-38...a make or break summer ahead!

I don't know if the Wiki is up to date. Doesn't seem to list the last few winners in the bit at the bottom. Also says we have 39 wins, which I don't think is right as I'm sure you're correct and we're neck and neck.

Tbh, I just checked Wiki.

I knew we were about neck and neck and it looked about right but yeah, doesn't seem to list the last few years.

Yeah barely any of the signings contributed to the up turn in form. It was more the players we already had suddenly turning better. Those players have gone back to being awful now.

Still don’t get the FAs problem with 4G pitches, internationals have been played on them for God’s sake.

It'll be interesting to see what KvV does if you do?
