he's pissed it move on people
I don't get this either. Intrigued to see what the breakdown of votes by gender looks like.Fucked up. Scary shit ahead.
One thing I have been wondering about is all the pictures of women screaming whilst holding up pro-Trump placards with "Trump For Women" or some other such bollocks written on them. Given his comments on females in general and his alleged criminal sexual activity with some women who have come out recently, you really do have to wonder what kind of mentality a woman would need to possess in order support him full stop, never mind in such a public manner. Fucking bizarre.
America showing once again that, despite their power and might, why the rest of the world has the square root of fuck all respect for them.
Thing is I am just not that surprised he won!
Worrying but clearly Trump got to the people in a way Clinton didn't - maybe because he isn't part of the political elite
Lets just hope his advisors do reign Trump in a bit with some of his ideas!
This is obviously superficial and would require greater analysis, but what is it that makes these communities so susceptible to right-wing spiel?

First 100 days:
He has also controversially vowed to build a wall on the southern border, paid for by Mexico. Right up until the campaign's final days, he has reassured his supporters this will happen, although it's not clear how or when.
- Starting process of "removing the more than two million criminal, illegal immigrants"
- Denying visa-free travel to countries who refused to take back their citizens
- Repealing every Obama executive order
- Restrictions on White House officials becoming lobbyists
- Term limits for members of Congress
- Cancellation of all payments to UN climate change programmes
- Using that money to fix US infrastructure
- Label China a currency manipulator
I find it worrylingly unlikely that they will. In fact, they may well end up being people worse than Trump himself.
Not only has the US voted for a meme as President, in Pence they've voted for a Vice President who believes in gay conversion therapy, is anti gay marriage, is pro-Guns, doesn't believe that smoking kills, is against Planned Parenthood, rejects the scientific theory of evolution, is anti-Secularism, believes that global warming is a myth, called stem cell research obsolete and once used campaign funds to pay off his mortgage.
He also listed Dick Cheney as his role model for Vice President. Darth 'Machiavelli' Cheney who took the US to war in Iraq despite knowing there were no WMD's, massively profited thanks to his ties to the engineering/arms company Halliburton, and left office with an approval rating of 13%. And like Cheney ruled over Bush, Pence will be the defacto President, pulling at Trump's strings since Trump isn't really even a politician. God bless America, they're gonna need it.
To be fair though it's going to be no different to the Farage/Brexit/NHS thing where he's made misleading statements for the vote and once he's got it then says '...actually no, we won't be doing that...'
I've still got space in the bunker mate. We'll watch Partridge and drink to the end times.Congratulations America on voting in a racist, misogynist bully who mocks disabled people, you complete and utter fucking cretins.
I've got this theory that Trump only put himself forward as a candidate to create a shit storm among the GOP, to try and move them more to the right. Then suddenly he found support for him was gaining momentum to the point where he became the last man standing. His ego is such that he wasn't going to stand down and say 'hey guys, I wasn't serious about wanting to become the president', so he's had to roll with it. Just a theory. Realpolitik will mean a lot of the hyperbole he spouted in his campaign will not become manifest, but what remains is his impetuousness which is worrying.
I see some similarities with the UK leave campaign and Trump's campaign too. Using fear mongering over things like immigration, both campaigns tried to pander to the fears of white working class people, the demographic that ultimately decided the outcome in both cases. That Marine Le Pen was one of the first political leaders was the first to congratulate both campaigns is deeply concerning.
Trump won it on a ticket of him not being a mainstream politician, allowing him to take a more unfettered approach. This kind of capitalising on dis-affection with mainstream politicians seems to be gaining traction in many places. Clinton lost it on being mainstream and there being deep mistrust surrounding her. It was a terrible choice for the electorate and it begs the question of how different it might have been had Bernie Sanders won the Democratic candidacy because he wouldn't have had all the baggage that Clinton has.
I really feel for the Americans who voted against Trump. He's managed to hoodwink working class people into believing he's on their side, much like May has here. How can they have been so stupid as to believe tax breaks for the rich and trickle down economics is in their interests? I'm concerned on a global scale now too. He has no time for accepting or wanting to deal with environmental problems and just doesn't have the measured temperament that a president must have. Worrying times.
This.Congratulations America on voting in a racist, misogynist bully who mocks disabled people, you complete and utter fucking cretins.
Lack of jobs. Feeling trapped in poverty. Life is pretty shit as it is so might as well vote for something different.
