Gotta presume Sterry is knacked again for this? So it makes a lot of sense to bring in Foran alongside Pruti and Dolan at CB, Dodds out at RWB.

As for Featherstone, been saying it most of the season, he's finished, his neat turns and touches don't work, constantly getting his pocket pinched, stick Sylla in front of the defence just for some height and physicality alone.
To be fair to Sterry,he was on the receiving end of a shocking challenge on Saturday.

We'd only sold 250 tickets for this by Saturday so can't imagine we'll be taking anywhere near the 4-500 I was hoping we would.

Both sides'll be looking to bounce back after weekend defeats. Sounds like the imminent Ollie Hawkins vs Luke Waterfall heading match is going to be a key battle. I'd imagine we'll look to soak up pressure and counter Gillingham. Can't see this being a classic. Tough one to call. It's a much bigger one for them than us, so that could be a factor.

In to Gillingham for 6pm. Any pub/quick food recommendations, Gills fans?
There’s not really anywhere decent within walking distance for food and drink before the game between the station and the ground unfortunately. Like Joe said Rochester would be the best bet as everything is there as soon as you get off the train.

I think it’s going to be a nervy close game, we need at least a point though in our position before we play Rochdale at the weekend.

given we're the top scorers in the division I thought you might have given up on using the 't' word... for now at least.
Note that I said last 2 games. We’re not the division top scorers over the last 2 games, however you want to dress it up. In those 2 games we’ve looked utterly toothless, haven't looked close to scoring.

Too many good attack options for Simpson I think has caused him issue of not knowing who to play……….I don’t like rotations, have always liked groups of players to bond together as units hetting used to their roles.

That being said…….ahem I would like a 3 up top with garner centre and Gordon and Patrick either side……pace and skill either side of an experienced hand.

And yep that means the L2 top scorer coming off the bench.
I agree. I’d like to see that at some point. I doubt it will be tonight, but maybe in a league game where we’ll look to counter more.

Quite fancy us to mug the County in the local park. Beat them 3-2 at home when we were the worst team in christendom!

Ah, it's the hope that gets you. Straight forward 3-0 win for Stockport and a very sore bottom heading home for Lola.

No Maris in the squad which out of our ridiculously long injury list is by far the worst. Squad is looking very bare tonight, due to his injury we are having to play our second left back in midfield and playing Jordan Bowery in defence. Not confident hopefully proven wrong but most stags fans would grab a point and run going off that 11.

We’re so inconsistent I have absolutely no idea what the result will be tonight or if we will play good or shit.
I’m predicting we will either win, or lose, or maybe draw.
I’m confident that I’ve got the correct prediction in there somewhere.

Home to the Wombles. We are showing no form at all currently. Would like to see the front line freshened up, going for a low quality 1-1.

I make you far too optimistic. If you're out of sorts then it's got a very scrappy and ugly 0-0 written all over it. It's what cold Tuesday evenings in February were made for.

Turnbull out injured. Jameson in to replace. Wonder if our failure to strengthen defence in the window will come back to haunt us. Hoping we can avoid a Valentines Day massacre…

Story of our season in 15 mins. Should be 2 up, pretty much first time in our half and a monumental f*** up and now we’ll lose the game

Waiting for Stockport fans reviews but you look more like relegation fodder tonight. Was not expecting this this.

The forum will explode when hellogregory arrives!!

Simpson is swapping and changing things up too much at present, needs to get back to a stable ship, it’s almost like the mass of injuries helped as it kept 80% of things stable now we have too many options.

Still as I said they needed to replace goalie and a centre back had they wanted progression

Haha.

This line up has no right to be playing so well, although I must admit Carlisle defending is beyond comprehension.

Dire 1st half from Sutton. All over the place defensively and appalling on the ball. Poor home crowd, Romantic lot down here. Only decent thing is only 1 down, hopefully management can get us sorted.

Carlisle at home to mansfield, given our injuries, the long travel and record against the top sides anything other than a home win would be a massive surprise.

Don’t expect anything from the game and it’s one of those games where carlisle will be visibly annoyed if they don’t win.

2-0 carlisle.

Think i can beat you on that one conker! we’d have all taken a point, this is just crazy

This kind of dicking has been coming for a while. We’ve been shocking and deserve everything we’re getting. Toothless in attack, woeful at the back. Just a poor poor team from back to front. It could end up 8 or 9 if we’re not careful.
I’m just grateful we’re safe from relegation for a season.

Absolute mauling in the first half here. Dale probably the softest, poorest side I’ve seen all season. They’re playing like a mid-table side ready for the beach going through the motions. We’ve had 75% possession and most of it in their half.

Clarke off for Boateng at half time, if that’s another injury we might get called up ourselves.
