Woeful? I'll have you know quite a few of our fans used to stand on that terrace every week before it was given to away fans, and were quite happy with it.

Where were away fans before?

Yeah I hope that fan was allowed back, did no harm just frustrated at the way his club was being run.

Anyway tomorrow will give us another chance to sing "Premier League to Forest Green" at our opposition, AND we can even do the double over them if we win. We'll have to play a lot more like we did v Cambridge though.

Just seen this thread, been out of the 1FF loop. He has been given a three year ban.

Forest Green desrved the win for me and I reckon they will stay up. City not at the races, agree with the points about the away end. onlytwo turnstyles and they opened the gate to let people in. My ticket wasnt checked and I know a lad who didnt have a ticket who got in.

They were in the South/eesi stand (on your right), when it was an all seated stand, then got moved to the North Stand (covered terrace) when the club switched the ends around. This season away fans were moved to the West terrace with plans to improve it and add some seats etc.

Thought the plan was to move to a new stadium?

All that side terrace needs is a roof. Doesn't have to be anything fancy or special, just enough to keep the rain off fans. Would improve the stadium massively if one was added.

It is, but will be a couple of years at least until it goes ahead so definitely ought to get some cover on the West Terrace.

Glad it has been reduced from life but still a long ban.
It might be worth his while to eat humble pie and apologise to club an offer to some voluntary work on matchdays such as sell magazines or help with pitch preparation for a few months. By then the club could relax and accept him back within the supporter's ranks.
Contrition works wonders.
