Expecting some delicious namby-pamby, ineffectual tippy-tappery from Dale Vince’s ecowarriors.

I will be watching on iFollow as long as my patience prohibits me putting my fist through the screen at our crap crossing.

Tippy-tappy would be an improvement tbh. Recently it’s just mainly been tippy as before tappy can happen we’ve given the ball away. Often in dangerous areas.

We’re fooked with injuries at the minute. Danny Mayor, Finn Azaz, Dan Scarr, Conor Grant, James Bolton, Macauley Gillesphey and Mikel Miller are all out leaving us very thin squad wise.

I’d expect us to line up

Cooper

Wilson - Lonwijk - Galloway

Edwards - Houghton - Randell - Mumba

Whittaker - Ennis

Cosgrove

Hardie might start ahead of Cosgrove. Leaves us with 3 senior players on the bench, one of which will be our back up keeper.

Limping towards January when we should be able to get some reinforcements.

To be fair Garrity hasnt hit the heights this season, Forrester should be back I would think? Walker is also back training, as long as Ellis is back I will be content.

In the remembrance picture is it James Wilson on the left? If so that's positive as he didn't look crocked seriously.

They've lost over half their goals for tomorrow so that's a positive from our point of view.

That said we are in form away from home, I think they haven't won at home since early September and have no one available who has scored more than a goal this season... we all know how this tends to go for us!

Point would still be acceptable and would be disappointed if we lost this one but play as we have recently we have a chance here.
I'm hoping by December we have a fully fit squad or near to (apart from Proctor) which would be good over the busy Christmas period.

Just got to try and get some return of points from the next 2.

Hopefully Forrester is fit tomorrow plus Harrison and then we give them a real good game.

We always lose at Oxford so not expecting much. Oxford fans are moaning about being without 3 players. Well we are missing our 3 topscorers from last season James Wilson 15 goals, Jamie proctor 13 goals, Ben garrity 12 goals. Also we can't play Stevens in goal so stone has got play and the last 2 games he has played he let 3 in against Exeter and 3 against Ipswich, he was also in goal when we let 4 in away at Exeter in the season so he is a keeper that is letting goals in. Also will Forrester who has been our best defender is out injured and 2 holding midfielders funso ojo and Brad walker are out so if anybody should be moaning about players been out injured then it should be us

Forrester and Harrison are in the training clip so assume they are back along with Walker.

Wilson should be back for Plymouth so likely to only miss two league games which is a boost looked a really bad injury and the reports last week didn’t sound good.

A football forum is probably not the right environment to be in if that’s true and things like Barrie’s post is what triggers those feelings.

Not saying you shouldn’t post just that it may be better for you if you didn’t.

Fella, everyone has stuff going off in the real world and I am sorry that you are going through what you are but I won't feel bad for that very flippant reply I made.

Anyway on topic.

Accy away is a proper banana skin on paper given their form and would be what we call doing a Wednesday to lose.

Game is played on the same weekend we beat them 3-2 there last season when we nearly chucked away a 3 goal lead, the two sides were much closer in league positions that time around.

With Shrewsbury up at ours next week, a team we never seem to fucking beat, 3 points would be most welcome.

Easy 3 points for you I reckon...Accy are due a bad day. Shrewsbury weren't great at our place, surprised to see them doing so well.

They've not won in ages..... had a great day out there last year despite it raining that much I wouldn't have been shocked seeing Noah and his ark about after.

Saunders doesn't really get a look-in even with 2 strikers currently out injured. Was on fire in pre-season but doesnt seem to replicate it in the real games. You may see him come on as sub.
Finners is great, one of our best players last season and has carried it on into league one. I dont know much about Fleetwoods players who are the ones to watch out for?

We are short up front at the moment, however Carlos Gomes Mendez, on loan from Luton is on a blue spell at the moment and Paddy Lane is coming back to form nicely. We have a good midfield around Dan Batty, Josh Vela Brendan Wiredu. All our losses so far have been by the odd goal, good incentive for you lads to go one better eh ?

I had it in my head that they were on a good run but that was a few games ago now. It's a horrible place to go but you should have too much for them, same with Shrewsbury who I don't think are very good.

Accrington are in freefall. Before their point against Lincoln they’d been conceding three a game for 4 or 5 games in the league.

Wednesday will win that with ease.

Thought you looked a well drilled team on the opening day but short of goals. Seems like you're doing ok though.

See our head to head with Shrewsbury fella....

We should have enough for most teams but this is football. Grounds/Games like Accy, Vale (not a dig), Lincoln, Morecambe etc we struggled at last year but so far we seemed to have worked out how to get a result at this time.

Well tomorrow was already going to be difficult, today it's been confirmed that Alfie May, Caleb Taylor, Ryan Jackson and Taylor Perry are unavailable due to injury. The first 3 have been our best players this season (aside from Liam Sercombe).

We are going to be so horribly defensive tomorrow - time wasting from the first whistle. If we even have a shot on goal I'll be blown away.
We’ve been scoring goals for fun of late too. 10 goals in our last 3 games.

I’ve said before on here I like Cheltenham as a club and a place as someone who goes to the festival for the week every year in March.. but I suspect if we score early tomorrow it might finally be the game we hammer someone properly.

And tbh they should have conceded more than just the 1 against us, but the one sight we gave them on goal, they took it! I know Coleman's sides always find a way, but can see them having a tough time!

Remember it being mentioned last year on the league 2 forum from other Vale fans that the lad was struggling and was in hospital after attempting suicide. Best to keep that in mind imo it’s tough dealing with depression.

Some people are fragile pal. It's quite frightening to think that some banter on a football forum could put someone over the edge. Personally I have no problem with you being as subtle as a hippo with a hard on but others, well, as I said, fragile.

You northern twat. :gr:

I have had a shit 3 or 4 years fella which has cost me a fair bit in life but I don't think that post was remotely personal. I've said stuff to Leedsvaliant or Danphillips that would be classed as personal and had some back.

It's all good hearted banter to me but I guess everybody takes and reacts to banter differently.
