That Imray for Bromley is a very good player. Every time I’ve seen them this season he’s been their best player, certainly was against us earlier in the season.

I’m surprised Bromley haven’t been a bit better overall, but they’ll keep picking up surprise results I reckon. That kind of team.

Fair play to Bromley. Done a job on us and tickled our bellies, the kind of game these lads struggle in. Fully deserved.

We need to ensure games like tonight and Fleetwood are few and far between.

Oh fuck we've scored somehow

How has that gone in

Really good game that. Been treated to some entertaining football in L2 the last couple of nights. First look at Bromley, pretty impressed.

Not sure how Walsall got a draw out of that, Bromley full value for the win, but couldn't get across the line, which will be a sickener for them.

Straightforward 2 nil away win at tranmere. They look poor imo though did miss a few chances. Into the last playoff spot we go

Got away with that one tonight. No where near our best. Think Stirk looked a little off it and it feels like when he isn’t at his best we suffer Bromley can feel hard done by they deserved the 3 points.

Tranmere were far from the worst side we've played and created enough chances. But if the only option on the bench to address dreadful finishing is Josh Davison then it's going to be a long season for them. 10 goals in 16 games equates to 29 over the season - which is guaranteed relegation on past tables.

Last night's point now seems even better than it did last night. No harm done now, still in a great position.

Walsall look like they've got some decent technical footballers but they really struggled with the physicality. Bromley much the better team second half and probably should have held out.

I think the top end of this league is going to be mega close this year. Lots twists and turns to go. Anyone in the top 10 or 11 has a decent chance of autos imo. The next 2 months or so are massive for us now, we only play MK of the current top 8 between now and the end of January.

We have they are usually a lot better than that though that was very poor tonight lucky to get a point we didn't deserve it

Very impressed by your lot. Land of the Giants but do it well. Will bloody a lot of teams noses this season.
I said this after we played them. They'll be decent this season, around lower mid-table, in no danger of relegation.

The problem is what happens next season when everyone knows how they play and sets up to combat that. They have no plan b at the moment, and failure to find one in the summer could see their stint in the EFL a short one.

Just shows no bankers in this league, makes our point a decent one I guess after last night's results.

Walsall getting Bromleyed before Bromleying Bromley.

Not looking great for Tranmere either. Don't do a fucking Grimsby/Hartlepool and add yourself to the list of BELTs that have gone back for seconds please lads. You're better than that. Hope you pick up.

Bottom of the league Carlisle on Saturday. I'm probably more apprehensive about this one than the 3 games before which was against the top 3 at the start of the month, we've gone unbeaten vs Walsall, Notts and Vale, but it would be so Crewe like to throw in a stinker here and get beat. Also I can't imagine Carlisle are as bad as there league position, looking at there squad they've got some players that should thrive at this level. Also we will be without a few players again, Long and Cooney both suspended, I'm expecting Bogle will probably be out injured after hobbling off vs Vale. So gives us abit of a selection headache, particularly at right wing back with the only natural option being Billington but he's been frozen out recently and hasn't even been making the bench. Then up top who partner's Tracey, you would think Lankester would have to come in to the team but he's not exactly a striker, bit he showed his quality on Monday and when he's fit he's got to play.

A cautious prediction from me is that id take a point again and keep the unbeaten run going, can't see many fans travelling north for an early kick off that's on tv after taking over 2100 on Monday aswell.

Oh I’d absolutely shake hands and take a point now.

“Not as bad as their league position” is something you can throw out there after 5 games of the season and there may be something in it, but when you’re 17 games into a season the league table is a true reflection. We are deservedly bottom and are the worst team in the football league.

Think it's important to mention that Lincoln also went back for seconds...

3rd placed Crewe Alexandra travel to Brunton park to face the worst team in the football league.

After a couple of good performances confidence is high (by Carlisle United’s low standards) so there is a glimmer of hope. However the reality is Crewe have only lost 3 games all season and haven’t lost in a couple of months where as we have lost the most games, have conceded the most goals and are the lowest scorers in the league. However way you want to look at it, we are where we are deservedly and are without question the worst team in the football league. Its going to take a performance of the season and a huge off day from Crewe for us to stand a chance.

With as much optimism as possible I can’t see anything other than a Crewe Alexandra victory.

Carlisle United 0-3 Crewe Alexandra

Rooted to the bottom for another week. Another game closer to relegation.

I relate to your uber pessimism. But the stats don't back it up.

You're 14th in the xG table, 12th in xG, 16th in xGA, 4th in possession, 4th in accurate passes. Yes, you clearly have issues in both boxes, including an inability to win a game. But you've just come off the back of a solid point at home to a team near us in Doncaster.

This will be probably be closer than you think. We're a good side clearly and can keep games close, but we haven't won away from home by more than 1 goal since since February and haven't won by 3 clear goals since last September. Also haven't won 3-0 away from home since 2017 if you can believe it. A narrow win I'd happily take.

The following stat backs it up:

24th in the Skybet League Two table.

First game in 3 weeks for Fleetwood as they take on Colchester at home. On paper a winnable game for the Cods, unfortunately we have a habit of not turning up in these fixtures. We have 3 successive home games and 5 points from these will do us a lot of good Hopefully tomorrow can get us going, a narrow 2-1 for the hosts

Hey, I'm not saying you're not a bad team. 2nd lowest goals scored, most goals conceded, 3 wins from 17 games. You're bottom for a reason. But this is League Two. Anything can happen. You took by the sounds of it a more than deserved point from Doncaster, who are level on points with us. Not sure why you're so convinced you'll get a tonking tomorrow.

Read it back, think about it (try with your pea brain) and ask yourself why any supporter let alone season ticket holder of any club would love their team being bottom of the league.

If you can’t work out how utterly absurd that take is then there really is no hope at all for you on this planet.
