It's all over, thank God. I'm not going to jinx anything because you're not going to lose at home to Braintree, and Salford will not be smashing Pools 5 nil or something. Get in and fcuk off Salford.

I thought this was official. Looking all but certain, but stranger things have happened. Fingers crossed for next week, would love Orient back in the league.

Yeah, amazing what a Lambo can do.

I never say I'm at a match when I'm not. Certainly would've been interested in going if we had anything to play for as TNL is a decent away ground. Actually, make that the best away day for obvious reasons - vegan food, the eco friendly ideals, sea shepherd and so on

I'm glad you're confident cos we're shite, Rooney will have a field day, just hope Orient do the bizz themselves.

I so want them back that I couldn't help myself! Stranger things have happened that's true but it would be possibly the strangest thing in the last decade or so if they can't take just the one point off Braintree, plus obvs Salford to score 5 at Pools. Even harder if Salford rest their better players as they'll have the play offs in mind.

If you're Salford, you go all out, play your strongest team, try and run up the score and see what happens. All it takes is for Orient to choke on home soil with all the pressure on them, a 1-0 defeat means Salford only need 4. Slim chance it happens, but it could.

Braintree have been winning games since they were relegated. If they win Salford only have to win by 4. Stranger things have happened...

Hope the O’s do it and anyone but Salford win the play offs. The circus if they come up would be unthinkable, id feel sorry for anyone who had them opening day. Crawley/Fleetwood people moan about but this would be another level altogether.

Losing Notts County for Salford would be the ultimate wounder.

Orient is a good away day,and were in need of some London away days. Hopefully Salford fall into the play offs and choke another "proper" club like Wrexham come up.

Leyton Orient and Solihull please. Wrexham being in the league would seem weird, they're the longest serving members of the National League. It's their division.

I'd love to see Solihull come up with Orient, if only for Stoz to get a fair crack at the Football League.

Slightly off topic, but Stockport are all but back in the Conference.
They lost the probable title decider at Chorley on Good Friday.

However......

Yesterday Chorley missed an 85th minute pen and then lost in the 91st minute at Spennymoor to let Stockport back in .

Stockport go to Nuneaton who are 15 points adrift at the bottom so surely a shoe in !!!!
They are a point clear.

You say that now, I've been reading complaints about Lincoln's style on here, wait till you see Solihoof, team full of fridges that kick you up and down the pitch for 90 minutes.

Hope Stockport make it back to the Conference, they really should do but football can be really cruel! Also great that Torquay made it back up too as I feared for their survival when the went down. Suspect both with have good seasons and will be eyeing a return to the football league in the next year or two.

Welcome back, Orient. Should be home and hosed now you'd think. Another side that have got back fairly quickly. They average seasons in the NL for a relegated side must be at its lowest for quite a few years.

As soon as Edinburgh was in, they were pretty much sorted. He knows what that level is all about and done it before. Got them as 12's in pre-season, too, which was crazy.

You'd fancy Edinburgh to sort Orient out this season having done very similar with Newport when he was last down here.

Yeah pleased Orient are (nearly) back. Carlisle’s seasons aren’t the same without them.

And I echo the views above. Anyone but Salford to join them.

No to Salford (for obvious reasons) and no to Fylde because the last thing the league needs is yet another tinpot club in Lancashire. Plus Fylde (and Fleetwood) both wouldn't be things if it wasn't for the pissing Oystons at Blackpool.

Hope Orient see it through and I obviously want everyone's favourite Welsh bottlers to come back to the league. But they'll bottle it. AGAIN.

Wouldn't mind Solihull though, Tim Flowers is a good manager and will be destined for bigger and better things in the future irrespective of them going up or not.

You just know that because of this thread, Orient will lose their last game 2-0 and Salford will win 3-0, sending Salford up on goals scored..

Wonder why?

I'm not just saying this because we won the conference but I have watched a lot of it on BT Sport and the standard seems a lot lower to when Mansfield, Luton, Newport, Crawley, Fleetwood etc got promoted.
