Only data between 2am and 10am was lost, so minimal.

The forum is running well now but we have lingering malicious issues in the database - we're taking regular backups and any further downtime will be minimal and once more result in little to no data loss.

Same. If it helps, this is the link it wants to go to.

Don't wish to appear pedantic but I thought you got less ads if registered. Got several today whereas yesterday there were none.

Meant to add: site is also so much slower since they reappeared.

Ads were completely removed whilst we had on-going security concerns. These concerns are now gone and the ads are back to the level they've been for the last year or so for registered users.

Ads have been setup in the last 24 hours to ensure members with 100 or more posts see less than those with less, for example the large billboard in the header is now replaced with a standard leaderboard ad for active members.

Just for you info, the ad layout has actually changed since my previous post. The large one has disappeared.

Only a little feature, so no sure if it's been overlooked or if it's just me. The back to top button hasn't worked since the reset.

The up arrow right at the bottom next to 'Contact Us'.

You've got 'Contact Us', then a football, then 'Home', then 'Back to top', then 'RSS Feed'.

Not sure if this is related but havent been able to get on here for the last few days. I thought the site was down.
When I clicked www.onefootballforum.co.uk it took me to the following screen

I was only able to get on here by including the /index.php

Yeah I've been looking on and off at this for a couple days, and seems it's working now with or without the index.php

OK folks, the firewall at some stage cached our index page when it was returning a 404/Hosting error - most likely when I was doing maintenance on the site 4-5 days ago. The firewall cache is only designed to keep this for a few minutes but due to a config error it meant some people, predominantly on mobile, were still seeing the error days after it first appeared, thus clearing your own cache and resetting your router would not have helped.

This issue has now been corrected in the last few minutes and no further references to this cache issue are present in the logs. Translated into plain English, everybody should now have access on all devices.

Traffic on site has been down around 30% in the last 5 days as a result so I will monitor this in the coming hours and into tomorrow to ensure the issue is resolved in full. If anyone continues to experience issues, just update this thread with your findings please.

Thanks to both Mark & Rad for looking to deal with this in my absence.

Just to add further, I've now been all over the site and providing I use IE there's no problem whatsoever, the same with an ipad using safari, it's seems that the set up doesn't like chrome for some reason.

I don't know if anyone else is getting this but I thought it worthy of a mention.

I use McAfee AntiVirus Plus and Chrome and in recent days I get the following warning from McAfee Web Advisorwhen using the website.

"We tested this page and blocked content that comes from potentially dangerous or suspicious sites. Allow this content only if you are sure it comes from safe sites"
