Maybe, but there is a huge disparity between the revenue between Vale and Derby. Derby will turn over close to £20m this season (down from £30m which we were roughly at pre-covid). Vale, I’m assuming will sit roughly £7m although not easy to tell. I would assume just shy of double Burton Albion’s £4m, but that’s a stick your finger in the wind and guess.
Derby have a fresh start, with some agreed financial restrictions on trading for the foreseeable future. Mel Morris, the person who caused the mess, doesn’t benefit from the club in any way going forward hence why there is a business plan, no further punishment.
The business plan will be subject to us not running up any excess finances going forward and players coming to the club will sit within sustainable parameters based on the takeover - minus investment from Clowes in academy, etc.ours is anything like that....
Boltons turn over will not be £20m next season.......Only see Shef wed and Perhaps Ipswich having a higher turnover than us
Dont see how Derby can come up with those figures
