Think it’s boiled his piss that every other team to come in to league one has been welcomed bar Bolton. But the only reason Bolton weren’t welcomed is because of him. There’s an irony lesson there.

Just doesn’t get it that the attention seeking and pretence that Bolton are the biggest club in the history of football ever, makes it easy to dislike them (and I say dislike them meaning specifically here).

Because in the real world no one gives a shit about Bolton, and no one ever has (maybe that’s the problem). And that’s coming from a supporter of a club who has no real rivals.

One of my stag do’s (I’m cool so I had two) was at the abbey to see Cambridge v Morecambe in 2014 in our second home league game after promotion. We had to put up with Masi and RobShep in League 2 last season detailing every bloody thread. I put them both on ignore but you could still tell when they were posting bollocka. The one negative of being promoted is being stuck with Masi again.

Maybe if everyone puts Masi on ignore he’ll end up just talking to himself and will just disappear or something.

Firstly huge congratulations to Morecambe, a huge achievement for them.

Secondly, do not judge Bolton by Masi and TheFuturesWhite's posts, there are actually some very decent Bolton posters who are worth your time.

Re Masi, he is very outspoken about his club, hugely biased and generally doesn't take criticism of Bolton in any way. This almost always deteriorates into a childish slanging match which often derails threads. I do genuinely worry about his mental health, posting late at night or early in the morning. (could be around anti social working hours I guess)

Managers and players are a bit different in that respect I think. You quite often see managers make the jump down a division if it's to a bigger club with more resources, but don't think players often do that, they usually value playing in a higher division more than managers do. If he goes to Bradford, can't see Adams taking many players with him.

Who do you expect him to take with him? Yann Songo'o maybe but surely Mendes Gomes and Stockton are off to bigger and better things?

You'd rather it happen now than mid-season so it gives you a summer to sort out the new manager and recruitment.
