I really dont want Hill
I'm sure Morecambe will be an attractive job for an ambitious manager... they might not have the resources of other clubs in L1 but any manager who wants to build a reputation will know that they'll be given time.

Alex Neil is 16/1 and I think he would be a good fit, presumably local to the area too.

I’ve ignored him, pretty sad really because in all the time I’ve been on here and it’s previous incarnations plus some of the muppets that used to post, I’ve never done it before, some achievement.

Firstly huge congratulations to Morecambe, a huge achievement for them.

Secondly, do not judge Bolton by Masi and TheFuturesWhite's posts, there are actually some very decent Bolton posters who are worth your time.

Re Masi, he is very outspoken about his club, hugely biased and generally doesn't take criticism of Bolton in any way. This almost always deteriorates into a childish slanging match which often derails threads. I do genuinely worry about his mental health, posting late at night or early in the morning. (could be around anti social working hours I guess)

Thirdly, good luck!!
Dont worry about my mental health......I can take criticism about anything in life including Bolton
The late nights early mornings are work related so no worries there.
Just crack on fella and dont worry about me.....

Yep and these are his posts to me that the charmer chose to pop in to the non league forum to post in early May, but remember I am the one stalking him.

2nd May you decided to post in the non league section, well before this thread here was even started.

Have a nice day.

You don’t have the right to tell anyone where they can post or not, you arrogant self-absorbed twerp.

How about everyone can post where they like and you stop behaving like a dick?

Everyone to a man called Morecambe a shithouse of a team then welcomes them lol

will compete with Gillingham for bottom place

Fully deserved over the season

Everyone in lge 2 including me, but what a great acheivement
Not me...
Discredit to Morecambe there, I think. Best side we've faced this season in that 3-0 win, in my opinion. Ripped us apart and gave us nothing when we'd been one of the toughest sides to play against in the division for the past 6 weeks or so. Which in turn, makes the Bolton win against them all the more impressive for me

Adams leaving adds further fuel to my theory Morecambe didn't operate on such a small budget as they usually did under Bentley. He doesn't strike me as the sort of manager that would put himself under a very tight budget constraint. I imagine he was always well backed at Plymouth and he will be at Bradford.

He was on an extremely tight budget at Ross County and got them to the SPL. Obviously we were not poor as Church mice when he managed us, but when in league two a significant chunk was still being paid back to football creditors. We paid a £15k transfer fee and I think that was his first ever. The keys to an Adam’s team is his recruitment, the use of a single forward, fitness and a carefully organised team.

Oh, I thought Ross County were bankrolled for some reason. Maybe I've called Adams a bit wrong in that case, I still stand by my assertation that Morecambe's budget has been at least slightly upped since his arrival though. But still way down in terms of L2 budgets last season, so it's still a tremendous achievement.

It was his dad who was the Chair at Ross that sacked him. Awkward at Sunday lunch!

He is proven at this level and he would demand some support, so I suspect your hypothesis is correct.

Welcome aboard Stephen Robinson! Has experience at league 1 with Oldham, but they are a basket case club so can understand why his record looks poor at this level.

Looks to have done a decent job at Motherwell and it sounds from what he is saying, that they are similar to ourselves. Excited to start getting sorted now.

Wow that’s quick. Do you think Adam’s leaving has been on the scene for a while (I.e. the rumours that he okayed Bradford’s retain list), and that as a consequence you have been pretty busy too finding his successor?
