Bob's Burgers.

I've only seen the first few episodes of the first season but so far so good.

Just started Sons of Anarchy. Watched the 1st season in a few days and currently halfway through the 2nd season. It's pretty good.

Also watching Dexter. Just finished season 5.

Watched American Horror Story season 1 with the murder house. Can't say it ever really excited me or drew me in. Not terrible but just meh. Watching season 2 now but this is doing the same. I'll stick at it but not enjoying it too much

S3EP2 for me. Storyline isn't a masterpiece, but the personal characters are excellent. It will continue to grow on you mate.

Decided I wanted a new series to watch after I'd finished Peep Show...and I've gone for Lost, which should arouse at least one member of the 1FF Community.

Arouse being the absolutely correct term.

Series 3 of Ripper Street. By far the best series so far with more gore than previous series if that's possible.

Just started The Wire.
If its the first time you've seen The Wire, you may feel its underwhelming and a bit slow (and hard to follow at times with the slang) at first, but stick with it and you will be rewarded.

The Wire is possibly my favourite show I've ever seen. It gets even better when you rewatch it, especially season 2

Agreed, many of the subtle things you miss on the first showing, you get on the second and know how it will change things. Season 2 is my favourite season as well.

Corr, check you guys out. Mike getting started on The Wire, Murphy making the best decision of his life in starting Lost. Some superb television coming up for both of you chaps.

And here's me getting started on Once Upon a Time season 2. I just couldn't be arsed to get started on it again really to be honest, but actually after that first episode I'm feeling ok with it. Will be interesting to see where this season goes.

Ha, I've just finished the first season and that is exactly how I would describe it. In fact, halfway through the season I was wondering what on earth all of the hype was about. I'm glad I stuck to it though as it improved a lot towards the end of season one and season two has started really well.

Season one is the slowest until people start getting killed towards the end. 3 & 4 are the best seasons obviously and 2 is a bit love/hate because of the change in focus but i liked it.

Watched the first series of Peaky Blinders this week. Very good - only criticism would be the lack of characters you actually care about. Tommy, Grace and the copper - the rest are all meh, don't give a shit about his brother, aunt, sister, Freddy etc...Obviously the end of series 1 throws a spanner in the works but I've read ahead because I was going to stop watching if they killed that character off.

Suits is back and looking good, will watch How To Get Away With Murder's return too. Only thing I'm disappointed currently in is The Mentalist which is hobbling towards it's end as opposed to White Collar which really thrived in it's final season and had a satisfying end.

So weird to see him play a neo-nazi character when his own political views couldn't be any further from those of the character.

Really? I think it's been 'nice' like it was always going to be. The main idea of the programme is that it was about case solving each week and that's how Heller has wanted to end it. It's been good, read lots of good reviews around the net of this series and on the old TV forum I use, it's get a better review than anything with Red John in, which seems pretty strange to me, but hey. It's only meant to be a weekly case solver.

Yeah...but what's the point? There needs to be some main plot if it's going to end and they've teased it with the dodgy FBI guy and then not mentioned him since, 4 weeks later or whatever.

I don't think there's much point getting anything together to be honest, the Lisbon/Jane relationship is meant to be the main focus to finish the show off nicely and I don't mind that, although I'd my buddy PJ had someone more tasty on his arm. Erica Flynn perhaps?!

You're missing the point, there needs to be an actual arc - even if it's just them taking down one more bad guy with the FBI. Currently there's no actual interest, the weekly cases aren't clever enough to keep you interested and it's pretty much at the point where it's repeating itself in the way they solve cases. It's not even a tribute like you're trying to paint it as either because they've changed the entire formula - it's almost as if he's created an entirely knew sub-par spin-off show with only one season to play with, that's too weird. I'm also 90% sure that Heller stated there would be a new serial killer at some point but it needs it now before it burns out entirely.

Spartacus.

I can't work out if it's good or not. All the blood splattered everywhere makes it look like it's made for 3D. I've read it's similar to Game of Thrones without all the boring shit which drags on in that? I've never seen it though.
The only thing about Spartacus that IMO is similar to GoT is the copious sex scenes.
I got extremely bored of Spartacus very very quickly, whereas I absolutely love GoT. Even having read the books, the TV show is still a brilliant watch.

Ditch Spartacus Dave, and start with S1 of GoT.

That's an order btw, you are afterall my bitch, are you not?

Could never get into Spartacus, just seemed to be a bunch of sex and fight scenes strung together by shit dialogue, a bit like a budget softcore porn film.

I've only just been made aware that Saddler's pic is Rachel from Suits, therefore I'm assuming [hoping] at least one other person likes the show as much as I do.

I fucking love Suits. And I'd turn for Harvey without a second thought.

Just finished watching The Sopranos. It was utterly brilliant throughout, probably my favourite TV show I've seen. I picked up the Suits boxset last week for £15 off amazon so will give that a watch next.

there is another Rock star later on in the series but I haven't seen him yet, started series 4 on Netflix this weekend

I am a bit obsessed with SoA at the moment. im getting through a series a week with the missus. no series 7 on Netflix yet though :(

Marilyn Manson in as a neo-nazi later as well. Although I didn't recognise him at all until I saw his name in the credits and looked it up.
