Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Watching the second 'night manager' was the faked kidnapping in the book? I'm also reading the Jack Reacher book 'persuader', and it has exactly the same 'use a rescue from a fake kidnapping to embed the operative in the organisation' plot device.

It's not that bad, idiots. And Coleman's super smart, cardigan wearing, wee bit bumbling but w/ a rod of steel for a spine auntie locked away in a damp office is a 'type' in Le Carre dating back to Connie Sachs at least. So frame up.
Is the abysmally inconsistent accent a part of your precious 'type'?

LOVED the bit where the white dude we're all rootin' for fucked a woman who had been beaten half to death earlier that day :fl:

I did not realise that you were talking about her accent, such was the opacity of your execrable prose. I will pre-emptively accept an apology for your culpability in this unfortunate misunderstanding, however. Thanks.

American Crime Story is getting really good, the two latest episodes ("The Race Card" and "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia") are superb, saying a lot about race, fame and sexism. Brilliant performances from Sarah Paulson, Courtney B Vance and Sterling K Brown in particular. And Travolta is hilarious.

Black Sails is brilliant. Earlier series were a bit poor but this one is absolutely stunning.
Forgot the new series was out! As someone who loved 1 and 2 this has got me pretty excited

New series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle started last week and was as brilliant as usual. Look forward to watching last night's episode after work later.

Episode 12 of season 4 of Breaking Bad.

I started it again from the beginning and I shouldn't have. I'm obsessed. Again.

It's really good isn't it ? ( I didn't think it would be ) wish he'd stop doing his " thinking " face though, makes him look simple.

Anyone watch the first episode of Childhood's End?

They don't think it was great but that closing scene was chilling.

I had the book but never got round to reading it then lost it! Want to read it before I watch any adaptation.

Started to watch The Wire. I've only ever seen the first episode.

I know.

I don't know which rock I've been hiding under either.

At least now I can update the title of my bookmark of that gif from "black man shaking his head in a disappointed manner" to "Bunk head shake".
