Thought we could discuss possible forfeits to push onto our very own HG in the unlikely event that Carlisle avoid relegation.

According to HG this is a waste of time and we might as well say what forfeit he has to do should Carlisle win the Champions' League within the next 10 years. Since it's only our own time we're wasting I figured it would be fun to discuss it anyway. I'll maybe add a poll to the thread after a few suggestions have been made (I think you can do that on OFF).

Of course this is all done in the full knowledge that HG will most likely refuse to comply if Carlisle do stay up... and we can't enforce the forfeit as none of us even know his actual identity, but still... fun to discuss.

I'll start. He has to change his name by deed poll to Greg Abbott

(assuming he's a he of course... though if HG is female then this just becomes an even better forfeit)

he has to publicly apologise on here for being a miserable c***, and clogging up the relegation thread with his suicidal posts.

He has to pitch invade at the Hartlepool game - final game of the season - and bow down to Keith Curle.

Even if the unthinkable did happen, I think I'll be missing that game regardless.

He's only allowed to post positive posts and if he posts a negative one he's banned for 24 hours.
I remember near the start of the season on TFF, I was positive in predicting we'd beat Plymouth away.... and their fans went mental!! It was like I'd stained their honour or something. How dare I expect us to beat the mighty Plymouth.

I do remember that. At the time Curle had managed us for three and a half matches and in that time we'd scored 9 goals and conceded none.

He (or indeed she) will have to go in goal for a Carlisle United All-Time Shitest XI against Real Madrid, and be condemned to play non-stop football matches until he/she/it scores a Jimmy Glass-style winning goal. Fair?

That's fair enough. Real Madrid agreeing to that match is about as likely as Carlisle being in the football league next season.

to be fair it might not be that easy to get the Carlisle players to participate on the grounds of being represented as the all time worst XI either.

Let's commence voting on this shall we?

I can still add new suggestions to the poll... voters are allowed to change their votes too so it'll work. This forum is so awesome.

Looking like a trip to the stocks in the bothdee suit n pelting with fruit is a possibility. This could be turned into a fund raising activity for CUFC. Would that qualify for the tinpot thread ?

Funnily, option 6 was the first I had in mind even before I opened this thread :)

Purchase a season ticket for Holker Street and be required to attend all January fixtures - just to see what he's missing out on.
