Oh right, i know nothing about Barrow other than that Danny Livesey plays for them.

I guess I'll be finding out a lot more about them next season.

and Simon Grand, Andy Cook and Lewis Guy

also that Jonny Gorman we had on trial in the summer, who inexplicably for a 22 year old lad who sits on the bench for a Conference North side, is a full Northern Irish international with 9 caps.

Would we not be best off maybe having a look at him? Not that I've seen him play though, just his international caps suggest he's half decent.

Also, some of them Queen of the South players who demolished Rangers last night, should be looked at.

Edit:
Was that him that played v Penrith pre season? He was quite good actually.

I think so yeah, he played in a few games, and was kept on for another week I think, think he even played against Barrow. People who saw it said he looked half decent, but then some people on our forum thought not (can't remember their argument). Fact is though he's not a regular for Barrow. I don't know much more about him and really have no idea what to make of the fact that on the one hand, he's not good enough for the starting line-up of a Conference North team, yet on the other hand he's good enough for an international team (admittedly he isn't in the current Northern Ireland squad that are doing quite well in qualifying).

Keep those votes coming in guys.

Shoddy - what happens in case of a tie? HG deserves all that's coming to him, but surely he won't be made to suffer through 2/3 different punishments o_O

It does feel like you've been rooting against us HG, I hope you are actually happy after today. I sure am happy, I won the Grand National sweepstake and then Carlisle scrape a win too, great day all round.

Rooting against us? I'll be surprised and delighted if we stay up.

I dream of having to be proved wrong, but the pessimist in me still fears for us. Our run of games coming up is horrendous. We're not safe, 1 more win and we are but I honestly can't see where it's going to come from. We'll have to rely on other teams failures.

You're all getting well ahead of yourselves here. We're no where near safe.

It's funny that the unrealistic options are the most popular.

They are about as realistic as our chances of getting points from the next 3 games.

Is there no option for him to leave the forum? I don't even visit the lge 2 forum that much and his posts are becoming more and more tiresome everyday

You might as well delete the naked option because I'm not prepared to get a lifetime football grounds ban

Andrew Lapping posts on Cumbrians.net, I'm sure a few enthuastic fans and we could make this happen.

But you'll probably get to keep your kecks on.

I voted for the 24hr ban cos it was the most realistic.

I should have rephrased it, I won't be doing that forfeit whether naked, clothed, mankini'd, league 2, vanarama, champions league.

I'll be honest I've never had fish and chips from the chippie by the station. I don't even know what chippie this was referring to. I live by the coast and therefore wouldn't even entertain the thought of buying fish and chips somewhere as far inland as Carlisle.

Like Shoddy I voted for the 24hr ban too, as I'm sure it'll only be enforced for a couple of days max.

I went for the avatar change. Just reckon something that originated on a forum should have the forfeit confined to the forum, shouldn't be owt that he doesn't want to do out in the real world.

Tomorrow could be make or break for this.

A Carlisle win could really put this thread into action, or a defeat and other results going against us could hammer a nail into it.

If the coffin is the relegation zone then we won't be in it at 5pm tomorrow no matter what happens, let alone have the nail hammered into it, but I take your point that we're still one bad set of results away from being right back among the relegation scrap.

Yeah I mean dragged right back into the shit. It looks all rosy and comfortable now, but if we lose tomorrow and a couple of teams below us win, there'll be a mass panic amongst our fans. It can all quickly change. I wish we could just make it simple and get over the line with one more win.
