Site been down since mid week for me (and I miss it). When it goes down I can't ever find any reference to it elsewhere so I'm never that sure it is down. Is there an information link anywhere separate to the site?

EUK has migrated us onto a new platform; whilst they had notified this was upcoming we did not have a confirmed date for the process to happen and as a result we did not immediately update our host records to the point to the new server.

As a result, the site become inaccessible until we contacted EUK for the new server details.

We have now completed the process and taken a brand new backup of the site.

No further downtime is expected. Thanks for sticking with us!

And then lose the next election. You either stand for what you believe in or don't bother. If you do that's not worthless whether your in power or not. And lets not forget the tories were 20+ % ahead going into the last election and it ended up a hung parliament. But Brexit will have the main effect on the election, but that said I agree if Labour want power they will have to 'pull back'.

HI TB,
it would be nice if you could post something on your Facebook or Twitter accounts telling your patrons what's going on.....because every time the site goes down we are left in the dark. I was left thinking that some one had pulled the plug .
Looked on your rival and it seems as there has been a bit of a migration from this site to them!

Fair play. I don't believe I have access to the Facebook account anymore; will try and dig out any credentials I have.

No offence like but we’ve heard this many times before.

Is it four or five times in the last six months that the site has gone down for anything up to a week without warning? No wonder it’s haemorrhaging posters (and has been all season).

If the site goes down again you need to communicate what's happening otherwise people will just fuck off and not come back.

A quick explanation and estimate of when the site should be up and running, plus another one later telling people when it is, on one of this sites social media accounts is not that much to ask tbf.

Yep, I'm tired of this. Creating a new facebook page to let us all know what's up shouldn't be a problem. A simple message on FB or Twitter saying the site is down and that admin are looking into it will do for me. An estimate of when it should be back online would be a nice touch but not really that important afaic.

Same old unexpected downtime.
Same old being left in the dark.
Same old apathetic response.

Sounds a lot like my clubs owners.

Last downtime was actually back end of October. Still improvements needed, but it's been online for 3+ months without interruption.

Irrespective, welcome back.

Cheers,
TB

That's fine, can understand the site going down every now and then.
Next time it goes down will you let everyone know what's going on please? And make it clear where that info will be posted. Cheers.

Typical how it went down on transfer deadline day of all days which is when there's quite a lot to discuss too.

But yeah using the fb or twitter account to let us know when it happens again will be a good thing to do so we are not just left in the dark which is what pisses people off.

Well maybe, but at least your clubs downfall is entertaining, whereas ours is like watching paint dry.

Personally, I knew that eventually it would be back up, so no big deal. So if it is put on social media, fine, but I doubt i’d be bothered to find out. Thank you to the administrators/mods for all your hard work.

Phew !!, I wasn't sure if it was my laptop, and relieved the score guessing thread doesn't count this time.

Gutted was excited to discuss our game with all the Salford fans on here and couldn’t!
We won a game and it was exciting - that hasn’t happened for literally months. I was well up for coming on here and posting positively for a change. Missed chance.☹️

Yes it is and whoever the person was who decided that a football forum should be put down on that day is a bellend of the highest order.

It does not seem like a particular hardship to use the social media channels the site has to post something. Why bother having them if you are not going to try and create more traffic / make announcements when there are issues?

Budget cuts, lack of staff, other commitments.

Probably stuff like that, how most companies in this country are now.

Wow. Some of the reactions from people are embarrassing,

Go outside. See the world. Talk to people. More to life than a forum.

Unless you’re from Mansfield or Grimsby. Then just wait for TFF to come back online, do not, I repeat, DO NOT go outside. Mental scars never fade.
