Down: Ideally I'd have any 2 of Daggers/Cambridge/Cheltenham/Oxford. Won't happen though, so I'll take anyone but Carlise and Hartlepool please.
You might get your wish with Cheltenham, speaking with their fans isn't a pleasant experience, they are in a real rut at the moment. I would really rather avoid Oxford, even though they are reasonably close, not much love for them around these parts.

I'd rather not play Oxford either. We have an appalling record against them and the Kassem Stadium is hardly a ground that's worth visiting again.

Nobody wants us up? Disappointed. :(

If we stay down then I'd like to see Bromley and Havant or Gosport go up. Bromley so we don't have to play them shits again. By the time we do go up, they'll be back down! I like Havant and Gosport as Clubs so will be good to see either of them in the Conference. Anyone but Boreham Wood and fucking Whitehawk anyway.

Dartford and Welling coming down will be huge for this league with Maidstone (and possibly Margate) coming up. I'd much rather us as far away as possible from these clubs though. I want Poole Town to come up though. That'll be a decent away day I reckon.

If we go up then obviously Bromley/Boreham Wood will win the league. Would like to see Hartlepool come down. And maybe Cheltenham.

Not going to join the debate re owners, as I've said all that needs to be said about us.
Don't think you can deny that you've spent ridiculous amounts of money, but you are (one of) the biggest teams in the league anyway so I wouldn't mind seeing you lot up here, easy to get to. Doesn't look like happening though unfortunately.

My memories of the Kassam are mixed, on my only visit we did win 2-0, but the home fans lined up outside to hurl abuse at us as we left the groud. Their visits to The New Lawn are at best described as varied, on some occasions they behaved impeccably, at other times less so. I will be happy if we never play them again. Agree with you about the ground, one of the few places the away fans can watch their car being robbed from their seat. A huge soul-less place, which wold probably hold in excess of 20k if they finished building it, but it would still be an awful place to watch football.

Oh yes, their fans do have a bit of that reputation as well. I suppose it's what going on for two decades of relative underachievement does for you.

I've never denied that mate. We had a fairly big budget last season too, but it was wasted.

perhaps all the January signings was a case of too much too soon, but you never know. A game in hand and seven points adrift - stranger things have happened. Dover got into the play offs last season with the last kick of the season. A penalty against Havant. And we all know what happened from there.

Although the chances are slim, I haven't given up hope just yet.

Not criticising you mate, pointing out to people that might think you're a hobby club with no fans etc that you in fact get the biggest crowds in the league.

Can't really blame anybody if they do think that tbh.

I know our owner won't be around forever but with plans for the local area he will be around long enough for us to then be able to survive after he is gone. Of course we aren't his main interest here and we all know that, but he has a hell of a lot of money invested locally.

Grimsby to win the league and Macc through the play offs..

Burton and York are our only 2 local games at the moment and Burton will be in League 1 and York in all sorts of danger just outside the bottom 2. At least if they come down you lot get the best away day in the Country.

Haven't experienced a proper game against Chester, so that would be an interesting one, how many does the away end hold?

Remember going to Wrexham when I was about 12 and winning 5-1, what a team we had then. If they were to happen again I can't see them being bubble matches, just ridiculously strict.

You would probably be given 1200, although we have given more in the past.

Got my fingers crossed, Guiseley won't be here next season. Very odd set of fans, they have there. Their ground is also an eyesore.

You could well end up with cheltenham and york with the way things are going.

Hartlepool are slowly but surely dragging themselves closer to the pack. Cambridge and York are dropping like a stone

Yeah luke, but we could end up losing burton Shrewsbury and York. Our local derby next season could be northampton!!!

Hartlepool have us at home Saturday and I would expect them to win that given our terrible away record (though its ok of late) and now we are more or less safe.

Moore would be a miracle worker if he did it

Well, in short you've got

Cambridge 47
York 45
Mansfield 45
Carlisle 42
Hartlepool 40
----------------------
Tranmere 39
Cheltenham 37

Cheltenham, Tranmere, Carlisle and Mansfield are on shocking runs.

Hartlepool have been on much better form but only gained 1 from 6 over Easter - York have won their last 2.

Cheltenham and Tranmere have really tough run-ins

Fair play to Hartlepool, what a turn around!

If we don't go up, we need Cheltenham down here for another local game please

We had a ref called darren drysdale - who has a bit of a history with us. Anyway in the 2nd half you had about 5 yellows, an injury, us time wasting, the game being stopped for a minute or 2 when the tranmere fans had a mini riot in the stand, so had gave 8 minutes - in that time there was a brawl involving pretty much every player which lasted 3 or 4 minutes.

It's fair to say both were pretty desperate for a win last night

Hartlepool and Tranmere then. Would still be among our best fixtures next season.

In order of preference: Barrow, Chorley, Guiseley, Boston, [...to infinity...] Flyde

Can't care less about the Conference South. Completely uninspiring. Bring on the rise of Maidstone and Dulwich.

Alfresco Town to survive in our league please.

A bit que sera sera about Conference promotion. Maybe let Eastleigh/FRG and Barnet go up so we still get decent away followings from Grimsby and Bristol Rovers. Out of goodwill I'd like Woking to do it though.

Think the bottom two will stay as they are - Cheltenham don't have enough quality from what I've seen in person, Tranmere have had months to pull themselves away and can't do it - Adams will be sacked.

In the North, completely biased but I'd love Boston up from the play-offs. Both Barrow and Fylde are bankrolled tinpotters, so in that sense I don't really care which one does it.

South - many sides of similar size and calibre. Anyone but Whitehawk I guess. Boreham Wood would get obliterated at this level.

Barrow are historically a decent sized non-league club, probably the 2nd/3rd biggest team in the division so I have no problems with them coming up. Fylde though ffs.

Whereas Boston got into the football league the hard way... by cheating.

Also Barrow's average attendance is about 300 more than Boston's
